Loved this place! It was SO cute it felt like I was stepping out of this world ! I didn’t get my servers name but she was extremely knowledgeable and welcoming. Had the cheese plate to pair with it and it was simply delicious.

Cool vibe… the night we came in a band was playing (Louisiana style jazz). They were AWESOME! We got a flight and it was like $ 12 or $ 16. Wine wasn’t too bad but the Mulled Wine was soooo good. It was a warm drink that goes down easily so be careful ahah. The wine menu drinks looked pretty interesting. They substitute hard liquor for wine in popular drinks like sangria and mai tais. There was only one worker when we went so the service was super slow. But this divey wine bar was pretty cool, especially the back tiki lounge. So yeah, cool and chill vibe.

Great staff. Wine was good but soft. I personally like a little more bite. But it was great (especially the Mulled Wine).

This is my favorite place to come to in Solvang! I am a member and I enjoy coming here every time if you do come here please try the Hot Spiced Mulled Wine staff is so friendly love having Alanna alway waiting on us

BUYER BE WARE of membership, which states «No membership, annual or cancellation fees (we do ask that you remain a Member for at least 4 releases).» Perhaps they do not call it a «cancellation» fee, but if you should need to cancel prior to buying 4 shipments, you will be charged for the apparent savings you receive as a member (which I was told is $ 150 since I was on the 3^rd shipment). This was very misleading and upsetting to say the least.

Fun place! Super cute with all the pinup and vintage inspired stuff. The bottles are adorable, great wine, and make great gifts. Try the mulled wine or grab some to bring home. So yummy!

Amazing wine and incredible service. The mulled wine is a great treat to end the wine tasting adventure. The wines are a bit limited so when you find the one you like I suggest getting a case before its gone forever. The staff are incredible and super friendly. Def worth checking out anytime you’re in the area.

Love this place! The wine is delicious and the ambience is fabulous. Everyone who works here really knows their product and enjoys it! We make sure to stop by every time we pass through Solvang. We highly recommend the wine… especially the mulled wine. It’s holiday in a cup! If they still have bottles… do not pass up on he Oh My Gosh Grenache. In their current line, the Eden Eve Suited Petite Syrah is not to miss. They also ship wines at low cost so we joined as members when we lived in the central coast and we are still members even though we live in LA.

Be sure to check out this winery. The wine selections are great but what I really appreciated was that you can order a yummy cheese and cracker board to enjoy with your wife tasting. I found it really odd that none of the wine tasting places offered pallet cleansers like crackers. Or even little chocolates to pair with the wines. This is usually customary, but not in Solvang. I was delited we could order one here and it was really generous. The wines are all great and they even had a warmed mulled wine at the end.

Fun place!

Been coming here with my boyfriend for three years now. We became members a few months ago. It’s our favorite spot. We love everything about this place. The wine, the employees and the atmosphere. The mulled wine is unlike anything Iv had absolutely amazing :)

This place is a real gem. The décor is great. The cheese is great. The wine is great. The music is great. The staff is great. This place is a must try. If wine is supposed to be a fun and feel good experience, then stop in here. Friday and Saturday night is best for the live music.

Love this place. Cool décor. Good wines and soda pop. I come here at least twice when I’m in Solvang. Good live music on the weekends! Definitely recommend!

Highly recommend this place. It has beautiful pinup labels. But the The ones are actually really good I probably loved five out of six that we tasted. I also purchased quite a bit of it. The Merlot was really good. They blend was amazing. I believe it was called Moonlight trio. If you have a little bit of a sweet tooth you might like their Grenache Blanc which has a little bit of residual sugar. At the end of our tasting we tasted the mulled wine. I have never tried red warm wine before. Lots of spices a little bit on the Sweetside but it was absolutely delicious. I did not pick that one up for I really enjoyed their basic reds. So I will have to go back to buy to buy some for the holidays. Two thumbs up!

Both Friday and Saturday night my husband and I danced all night to the great and fun band they had. It’s a bit small in there for dancing but we had no problem dancing right outside the door =)

Such a cute and unique place. Went in right before they were closing, so we only had time to have a glass of wine. I’m so glad I chose to try the mulled wine. It’s their specialty drink. A hot spiced wine that would be perfect for the holidays. Bought two bottles to go!

Solvang is a very cute town with cool architecture, but most of the boutiques and wine bars are pretty boring on that strip. I was happy to walk into Sort This Out because I love the rockabilly pinup scene. I had a nice glass of rose and hung out in their vegas themed room with a video of Bettie Page playing on a tv in the background. They have a fun collection of wine and sodas.

When we arrived at the quaint little town of Solvang (which I promptly fell in love with), we stopped at the visitor’s center. The gentleman behind the desk was extremely helpful in giving us some suggestions on which tasting rooms to try. One that he suggested (if we liked fun wines) was Sort This Out Cellars. We do like fun wines and a good time, so we headed there first. Oh my gosh. I knew immediately that I loved the place, with it’s funky vintage décor. According to their card they produce limited production wines, inspired by Vintage Vegas. They have live oldies and rockabilly music every Friday and Saturday night. Best of all they have a wine called Oh My Gosh Grenache. I think I may have said, «I’ve found my people.»
Yes, it’s all fun and games, but what about the wine. It was good. Very good. According to my notes, I especially love the Scratchpad Chardonnay. The tasting was $ 10 and included six wines. According to my notes, I liked it all, so here is the information from the tasting sheet:
We opened with Scratchpad Chardonnay 2011, retail $ 19. Your chance to be creative is in front of you. Grab a glass, a pencil, and go for it. This scratchpad label is your own canvas to express yourself and inspire the world. Sketch it, snap it, post it. Fruit forward, stainless steel aged, bright and crisp. Perfect with your favorite summer salad or fresh fish right off the grill.
Next was Holiday White Wine Blend, 2011, retail $ 19. Q nice white wine blend that will satisfy all your Holiday guests at your family gatherings this season. Great as a starter with appetizers or with salads and light fare. Our cute and sexy Christmasy/​pin-​upy label also makes a great gift.
Then a «Suited» Merlot, 2011, retail $ 21. A great daily drinker, we’ll take the odds that you’ll enjoy sipping this exciting wine with good friends. Rip fruit flavors and smooth tannins make this an excellent choice for casual foods and parties and is just at home on the poker table as the dinner table. Contemporary pinup model Candace Campbell graces the label.
Next, «Dead Zed’s Chopper» Cabernet Sauvignon, 2012, retail $ 30. This wine and bottle is dedicated to our favorite local rockabilly band — Dead Zed’s Chopper. Smooth, earthy, plum and dried cherry all come to mind while this wine takes a roll around the pallet. Each bottle comes with a QR code right on the back that directs you to a page where you can download their new album «A Good Day to Die.»
Then, «Suited» Mourvedre, 2011, retail $ 38. Deep black and red fruits show nicely against the smooth oak tones that produce a vanilla finish that amazes. Sexy, sleek and sensual and that goes for the wine AND label!
Last, «Solvang» Moscato, 2012, retail $ 19. Not your typical dessert wine by any means. reat for hot summer days, refreshing and light — not syrupy, this Moscato shows beautiful lemon, orange, and honey flavors. The label is dedicated to the home of our tasting room — the Danish town of Solvang. Now you can bring a gift back for that special someone instead of a shirt that says «so and so went to Solvang and all I got was this crappy t-​shirt.»
We completely enjoyed the wines and the vibe of the place. So much so, that we joined their wine club! They were very nice and packed up our order and even held it for shipping until we finished our vacation.
