Anthony Michael’s Catering

Michael catered our wedding reception after a recommendation from Darlene at the Kings Grant Community Room, our reception venue, and we couldn’t have been more pleased. We were planning the entire wedding from three hundred miles away, and Michael was happy to work with us over the phone and email to get the details of our food, table setup, and linen choices right.
On our first meeting, he brought some samples of his food over to my family’s house while we were in New Jersey, which was very convenient. Though the dishes he brought, a Penne Rosa dish and a Chicken Florentine, were only exemplary, we ended up liking them so much that we used them for the wedding. He of course also has an entire menu to choose from for other things as well, such as appetizers, salads, drinks, and desserts. And he also takes care of your wedding cake, organizing your tables, the linens that go on your tables, and the placement of your centerpieces.
Actually, let’s talk about the cake for a second. For this, Michael used DiBartolo Bakery in Collingswood. We stopped by one day in the summer to see what our options were, and ended up putting together not only one of the most unique wedding cakes we’ve ever seen, but one that was to incredibly our style that we couldn’t imagine having any other cake. We ordered a topsy turvy Pumpkin cake with cream cheese frosting inside and a buttercream frosting inside. It went amazingly well with our fall theme and it tasted great. We’re so glad that Michael uses this baker, because we really couldn’t have found a better cake.
Overall, Michael makes delicious food that you can rely on for your event. We felt well taken care of during the entire planning phase, especially the day before, when Christine from the office went through our day step by step with us. He’s a little more down to earth, so if you’re looking for white gloves and valets, he may not be your man, but for our reception he was perfect. And at around $ 60/​head, he was by far the most affordable option we found. Even though he didn’t take care of the liquor, he supplied a bartender for what we bought on our own. Everyone at our reception loved our food, our cake, and the general ambiance that this caterer was integral in helping put together. We’re so thankful for Darlene’s recommendation, it helped our wedding be memorable and enjoyable for everyone who came.

This company catered my engagement party and did a fantastic job. They met with us beforehand and had very helpful ideas and suggestions for us on everything from food to table cloths and place settings. They provide everything from start to cleanup so you don’t have to worry about anything and can just enjoy yourself, if you are able to relax!
They will be catering my mom’s wedding in the fall and I am definitely looking forward to seeing what they come up with.

This is the best catering company around south jersey! I use them weekly for sales meetings, VIP clients, and my own family events. I called for an emergency lunch I forgot to order, and they were at my office in 30 minutes with a hot lunch and an assortment of sandwiches!
