We decided to try a chicken parm sub, which seemed like a good buy for around $ 12 for the«giant» size. The sub was definitely considerable in size and we looked forward to trying Jersey Mike’s for the first time. Unfortunately, what the sub had in size it lacked in quality. The very first bite I took was a disgusting one. My mouth was filled with a mass of tendons and gristle that tasted like old chicken and metallic canned red sauce. I figured maybe it was a fluke and that the rest of the sub would prove to be tastier but no such luck. The sauce tasted cheap and disgusting and all the chicken tasted old and was soggy and mealy. This was one of the worst examples of a chicken parm sub I’ve ever experienced and, accordingly, we will not return. In fact, it was so bad that I will be sure to vigorously share my experience with everyone I know in this area as nobody deserves to be duped like I was. Furthermore, the male employee was surely, uninterested and brusque. This is no way to run a business but a sure-fire way of rapidly losing customers and building a negative reputation in the community.
