Yikes! What happened to this place? Just like Steven K. said in prior review — pizza burnt and ingredients slopped on pie crust without care.

YUCK! Discussing, burnt pizza. The last four times I tried their pizza it was either burnt or slopped on the pie crust without care. Not going for a fifth disappointment.

One of the best pizzas my family ever had. We were on vacation and went to the boardwalk location and wow was it great. Even though they were busy I made sure to get through to offer our compliments.

No better pizza anywhere(with exception of deep dish pizza found only in Chicago, but deep dish is a different category in itself)!

The pizza is delicious no waiting. We were greeted once we came in. Price is reasonable.

Love the pizza! I’d give this location 5 stars if they offered fountain soda like the original beach loacations. Rarely are sequels any good but this Mancos delivers great pizza, friendly faces and more options than the shore locations. The pizza we got was fresh, hot and delicious. I wish they offeres fountain soda(don’t know why they don’t), but outside of that they get two thumbs up!

Pizza is pretty good but a little overpriced. Go to the Somers point location. Ocean city locations are closed in the off season. Somers Point is open year round.

This place is way overpriced. The pizza is just okay. Definitely not the same as the boardwalk. Customer service is a little closer to fast food quality than pizzeria. Pretty lousy experience overall. I won’t be back.

I’m not sure what the hype is on this pizza but I do not like how it taste! It was hard and felt like I was eating wet cardboard! Maybe the shore pizza is better but this place will not be in my future!

Tried home delivery. This is definitely the only time that will be done. It does not travel well.

The best pizza outside of NYC. Thin crust, great sauce, not too much cheese. I eat this for every meal when I’m at the shore. About 30 minutes before I get there I call and order a half baked pizza. Pick it up and finish it at the house. Add beer for circular awesomeness.

A South Jersey staple. Excellent and friendly service. Classic round boardwalk pizza that is a bit more on the cheese side then a balanced ratio of sauce to cheese. My daughter loves this pie! Since it has saved us many a time for a meal for a picky child, I’m giving it three stars. Ask them to go light on the cheese and then you will get a better pie.

We love the boardwalk locations, this one not so much. Ordered takeout and the pizza was like cardboard, couldn’t even eat the crust. Definitely not the boardwalk quality pizza.

I can’t even believe I just had Mack’s and Manco’s boardwalk pizza in a Somers Point shopping center! I admit, I was very skeptical, since growing up on Mack’s – (and we all know that no one will ever REALLY call this place by its ridiculous new name) – I was so afraid it would taste bad and ruin my childhood. But one bite confirmed undeniable evidence that directly contradicts all the haterade these locals are pouring due to their ineluctable South Jersey cynicism. It tastes likes Mack’s; maybe not as awesome, but damn close. They may have indeed jacked up their prices, but I think for pizza this good, you should be able to go up a dollar here and there. The moral of the story is: you must go here if the boardwalk locations are closed. It seems almost impossible, but it’s true. Mack’s is in Somers Point, and that’s awesome!

While technically considered the«shore,» Somers Point is too far from anything worthwhile to actually embody the fun of the shore. However, tis Mack & Manco’s location makes the area just a little more tolerable. One bite of this pizza, and you feel as if you are on the boardwalk, sans the out of control lines. While I will agree that the prices are astronomical, it is worth every bit! Mack & Manco’s serves up my favorite type of thin crust boardwalk pizza. Ina ddition, their buffalo chicken fingers are pretty delicious as well. If you are craving good pizza, or just the feeling of sumemrtime, stop in!

The great expansion inland allows you to grab a pie or a few slices while shopping for food in the center or bringing some home. This is one of those memory triggers from when I was a kid. Granted it was on the Ocean City Boardwalk and the two slices and a Birch Beer which was in an old bubbler that looked like a keg… Yeah this place is new and not on the boardwalk but who cares. If you get it to go it will taste different, if you get it delivered it will taste different. If, however, you get it half way cooked and finish it off in your oven at home on a pizza stone, it will be just like the memories you had when you were a munchkin. For whatever reason since the pie has the cheese first on the crust and then the sauce, just does not sit right went left to steam in a cardboard box… trust me try heating it up at home. «The Good» — The staff are usually high school kids or shoobies if it is the summer. On average they are polite and prompt with helping and getting you in and out the door with some pizza. — Although they do not have Birch Beer on draft(or fountain, for those that want to be realistic about my memories) they do have it in bottles. You cannot have this pizza without craving a birch beer and you cannot have a birch beer without associating it with this pizza. — Its Pizza… its delicious. and the cheese is on the bottom.(shhhhhh thats the secret) — You can get it par baked. — Delivery now to Downbeach too. Woot Margate! «The Meh» — Nothing really meh… «The Bad» — The pricing is starting to get a little hinkey… ask for their specials and adapt.

This well known Ocean City, NJ boardwalk pizza joint has recently opened a location on the MAINLAND in Somers Point. There’s tons of Unilocal reviews already for the Ocean City locations. But at least I can be the FIRST to review this MAINLAND location! It’s in the Shop Rite shopping center, Ocean Heights Ave and Rt. 9. There’s also a Five Guys Burgers, a Samurai Sam’s teriyaki place, even a bookstore, Atlantic Books… and more! I decided to get the one size pizza, a large size for $ 16.00. It is in the upper echelon, price wise, for pizza joints. They also sell pizza by the slice, and although it looked real fresh, I still prefer mine right out of the oven. I love the oozing sloppy texture, a true consistency that is hard to duplicate. Besides, I figure I’ll just have a few of these fresh slices, and freeze the rest for my friend. Mack and Manco’s is his absolute favorite pizza place ! Thousands of others swear by the place, as well… I had tried their pizza a few other times; liked it, but did’nt love it… but this was the first time I was trying a pie right out of the oven. figured I would give it another shot found the tomato sauce a little too bland for my own personal tastes. and prefer a more garlicy taste . Most people DO opt for Mack and Manco’s famous thin, crispy crust . I like mine a drop thicker and doughier, though … once again, just my own tastes. All the ingredients tasted very fresh; that was worth another star !! I also tried a slice of the buffalo chicken pizza; it was one of the specialty slices they had sitting around, so it had to get reheated. It was«okay»… I visited Mack and Manco’s, Sunday afternoon, Feb. 22nd, 2009. There was a nice amount of business, including kids and parents all really getting into their pizza. When I got home, I carefully wrapped my remaining 6 slices. All for you, Ross!(I can feed an Army with my leftovers!)
