I came here because they had a 100 dollar special for cleaning and x rays since i had no dental insurance. The hygienist had a flat personality. Was more critical than friendly and let water spray all over my face and neck without even trying to clean it. Same day afterwards i had a consultation with cosmetic doctor. I had a 1 mm gap in between my front teeth and the rest of my teeth were the right size, and perfectly straight and healthy. I asked about bonding and he cut me off and turned on a whole sales pitch about lumineers. Saying they were 1700 per tooth and i should have at least 4 done. I told him ehh no i cant afford that and i like my teeth, just not the gap. I was continuously cut off, he only cared about selling me what i didnt even need. When i went to leave the receptionist was trying to convince me on a care credit plan and to spend my tax return or save money. It was insulting because i obviously cant afford that. And she said bonding would look stupid and make my teeth look huge. I did my research, knew all about bonding and i was treated like i was an ignorant dumb girl. This place left me driving home in tears, misunderstood and extremely disrespected and discouraged. Dont go dont do it.

Being new to the area, I had to find a cosmetic dentist to fix a front tooth bonding that broke off! I Googled and Unilocaled to find Dr. Sean McIntyre, D.M.D. in Somers Point, NJ. He was so nice and professional, I felt very comfortable as he confidently worked on my tooth. I am always skeptical with bonding because it was my main front tooth, not having superb work done in the past, and it is a main focus to the mouth/teeth. Who doesn’t look at teeth first when looking at someone!?! WELL, my tooth looks better than it ever did! I am so pleased and I can’t put into words how happy I am with Dr. McIntyre. He was also compassionate about me not having dental coverage, charging me a more than acceptable fee. I couldn’t be happier or more appreciative to this gentlemen. I have to give props to his staff also, very polite and friendly. Thank you, thank you! I will definitely return to this office.

I wish I had Dr. Sean as my dentist while I was growing up… It would have been weird as we are around the same age but still… One of my rules is find doctors and healthcare professionals that you get along with, partner up with them and grow old with them. This is that adage in living breathing proof. I moved back to Margate after leaving for school finding a career and then proving that working from home was a good idea. One of my best friends suggested Dr. Sean as their number one choice for dentists. That was good enough for an intro and the treatment and the relationship between the Dentist /Patient is what keeps me coming back. «The Good» — The Doc is patient and professional. There is no judging. If you only flossed three out of five days last week… that’s fine. You will be reminded that that you need to more, but its not in that harsh judging tone… Its in the«Hey goofball you need to floss more, because you know its good for the health of your teeth» tone. — The office staff, assistants and rest of the staff are courteous and professional. At the end of the day, they all care about you as a person and a patient. — The recliners have a TV and a remote so if you are waiting for the doc to come back or if there is time between the switch between the assistant and the doc you will have something to do other than think about the fact you are in a doctor’s office. — When I missed an appointment due to work and traveling and then spoke with Pat again, she was grumpy with me when we spoke, but it is because they care about you not that they are trying to give people a hard time. There is a fine line with that and this place has never crossed that line with me. Its the old Italian attitude of if I didn’t care I wouldn’t yell. Its kinda like that only they would never yell ;). — They care… Kinda had to give an explanation of that without having you just giving them an opportunity to take care of you. «The Meh» — No one has figured out a way to silence that damn drill noise… if they do, millions in the bank. But that is not limited to just one office. «The Bad» — Nothing bad to comment on … if there was he would not be my dentist.
