I can’t speak to the quality of the food, but their customer service is easily the worst I’ve ever seen. I went in Christmas Eve looking to get some gift certificates. I approached the register and stood there for 20 minutes and could not get an acknowledgement from any of the 5 or 6 employees who either walked right by me or flat out ignored me. Staff members would come to the register to cash out checks and flat out act like I wasn’t there. Twice to two different employees, I said excuse me can I get a couple of gift certificates and both acted like they didn’t hear me even thought I was less than 2 feet away. A customer sitting at the counter who was right next to me the whole time, actually looked at me at one point and said, «I can see you you’re not invisible» that’s how bad it was. I know it was busy but an I’m sorry we will be right with you… or something to that effect goes a long way. Don’t act like your customers don’t exist. I want to Roger’s who I’m sure appreciated the $ 100 I dropped on gift cards that day. I will never bother going back after being treated like that.

I haven’t been in there in a few years and the remodeling looks great. Plenty of seating. The server was polite and attentive. One thing I like is my coffee and they’re always there to top it off. I’ve tried several different plates and everyone was excellent. Very reasonably priced and a wide selection.

Can’t beat Lina’s for the quality and price! We go there a good amount and it’s always consistent. TJ’s special and the Portuguese omelet are amazing.

I work in somerset twice a week and have been looking for a good spot to go during my breakfast/lunch break. Wow am I glad I found this place, you could easily drive right by without knowing and I have many times. Thanks to Unilocal I found this hidden gem. Small cute little place, typical breakfast joint, until you eat the food. I had Lina’s special sandwich with chourico egg and cheese on a bolo with home fries. Simply amazing! Watched the pancakes and French toast go by and practically drooled. Will def be coming back! Highly reccomended!

I was put off by the exterior, but wowed by the inside! When you first come in there is a diner area where you can sit bar-style near the kitchen. On the other side are some tables and cozy atmosphere of a family restaurant. Very clean, but with personality. My friend and I went for breakfast and she ordered a mocha-chino. It looked beautiful and it was delicious. They had a massive breakfast selection. My friend loved the chocolate chip pancakes, and I had an omelet. I ordered the veggie omelet, for which you can pick 3 veggies from a list. I ordered onions, mushrooms, and spinach and I also added cheese. The serving was generous and it was loaded with the veggies, very tasty! It also came with toast and hash-browns. Our whole meal came out to a little over $ 10. I usually don’t like breakfast at restaurants, but this place changed my mind. I will definitely be coming here again.

I dinned here once on a Tuesday morning and I fouls the atmosphere to be cold and uninviting. The service was lacking once we were told we could sit anywhere we went to the left to sit near a window, however a waitress was blocking the stead of moving to the side to let us through we were left standing there waiting while she finished her conversation. I don’t know if this was a ploy to get us to sit in her section or what but all it did was aggravate me. Once seated we waited again for some time before our waitress greeted us. I should say at this point that there was only one other table in the restaurant. The food was mediocre at best in fact I couldn’t finish it. I would advise trying one of the several other breakfast places in town.

Such a good place! Very much a home like feel to it. Waitresses are some of the best out there, and they actually seem happy to be there serving customers. Tons of different items to choose from. Easily one of the best breakfast places in the area!

Really good casual local restaurant concentrating on breakfast items with choice of many specials and numerous Portuguese items. Also stays open til evening on Fridays for dinner offerings. Have always enjoyed the food and friendly service/atmosphere.

What is there to say about Lina’s…the live entertainment comes from the colorful employees stirring the pot amongst each other and joking with customers. The best view is from the counter and they are at breakfast. The Montecristo is bomb… let me describe. Two pieces of texas toast that died and came back as french toast. About 2 eggs scrambled on a griddle to make a blanket. Folded into that egg blanket is a slice of ham. It is folded into the egg put between the french toast slices to make the Monte. WAIT you have to drizzle it with maple syrup… ok you can eat now. The home fries are killer too… probably haven’t had them like these before. Cash only
