The North End is fantastic! I travel to Somerset with my husband each summer to visit his parents, who live just across the road from The North End. Their lobster rolls are always our first meal when we arrive and often the last meal before we head back to TX. Last year, my in-laws had North End lobster rolls waiting in the car for us when they picked us up at the airport. We scarfed them down in about 2 seconds. The rolls are piled high with sweet, juicy lobster meat and just enough mayonnaise to keep the meat together without masking the freshness, and served on something in between a hot dog bun and a baguette(the sponginess reminds me of Texas toast) — nice and doughy. During our annual stay, my father-in-law will buy live lobsters from here and we’ll have a lobster boil in the backyard. The lobsters are HUGE(we typically purchase 2 lbers), with the perfect ocean-y taste, and are definitely worth the splurge. I’m not a huge fan of Portuguese stuffies(quahogs) in general, but I enjoyed the one I tried from North End. I am looking forward to our upcoming trip this August for more of the same, and this time around we’re likely add some chowder to the mix!!!

Ok. So I bought the seafood casserole for two. It lists that it comes with rice and coleslaw. I only got the seafood. Which was really good. But for 20 bucks. Get real

Excellent fried seafood, especially the clam plate and a great value too. Their«dry» scallops are awesome and clamboil to go is fantastic. The place is very clean and inviting. Definately a hidden jewel.
