This place has become a regular stop for my son and I, we love it! Been coming here for years. Love the food, love the service and love the atmosphere. I like the biscuits and gravy my son goes for the omelette. Will definitely return!

Just stopped in, out of town on business. Good food, even better service.
Highly recommend coming by. Its really hard to mess up breakfast so the service is always the most important.
The omelettes are on point, but the hashbrowns are a little weak.
All said and done — very worthwhile.

We come here probably once every two months while we are visiting relatives. Food is great and the service is friendly and prompt. Prices are reasonable too. A solid breakfast joint with good food and decent service at an affordable price. We have tried almost everything on the menu and it’s all pretty good. I especially love their hash browns!
The only weird thing about this place are the somewhat risqué «vintage» posters they have up on the walls as decoration. Many are pseudo-​offensive, with sexual innuendo or racist implications. The fact that nobody seems to mind is probably a reflection of the clientele, perhaps a group who find such things humorous. In many circles, these wouldn’t be considered funny.
Other than that, great place for breakfast, good prices, and generous portions!

Nice little place for Somersworth. Food was good, fast service, plenty of seating. Wasn’t asked if I wanted a refill of my coffee (which is a must do for any breakfast restaurant in my opinion) but besides that it was a good meal. Would go again.

Very nice people. Local feel, but the food was not friendly with my stomach. I’d say don’t order the eggs Benedict. The hollandaise sauce was an inch deep. The pancakes were good, but nothing better than i can make at home. I won’t go back, but the locals seem to like it. So why not give it a try and see if you like it?

I’ve seen very positive reviews about Laney’s, only to see them disappear. The Unilocal gods don’t seem to be playing fair. I’m updating my stars based on everyone I’ve talked to and not just my opinion. Is that fair? Hey, it’s my review. I can do anything I want!
Although my past experience was very poor, I will check out Laney’s again. In talking to locals recently, I find a lot of folks love this place. I know a lot of regulars. Maybe it was just my bad luck? It seems like it is worth another try.

I have been back a few times in the last year. If I was in the area and looking for a quick bite, I wouldn’t hesitate to stop in. However, I would never say it would be my go to place for breakfast. The food is good. The prices are very reasonable. The staff is always pleasant and attentive. The problem is, with so many places to eat, there is nothing that really sets it apart from the competition.

Service was friendly and fast! I have a special needs child, and our server waited politely and patiently while my daughter made her breakfast choices. The food was really good, and the coffee was fantastic! My only piece of constructive criticism would be that if the pancakes are served piping hot, the syrup need not be heated. Room temp would be fine. :)

I just went to Laney’s for the first time today– i LOVED it!
Okay, so I actually have been searching for a breakfast place for awhile but things like Ihop were fairly far. And I like to eat late in the day when it comes to breakfast. Anyways, I will admit form the outside you’re not sure how it’s going to be but I was very pleasantly surprised.
I ordered the Gut Buster I think it’s called — aka a lot of food for like 750!
Chocolate Chip Pancakes — Seriously great pancakes I ate them all up and they were big!
Eggs– I usually hate eggs from breakfast places but these were some damn good eggs
Sausage links– probably my favorite thing. So good!
I highly recommend it. The girls from Poppyseed actually were the ones who told me it was a good place and they were right. I’m making this my breakfast place from now on.

Great place to eat… food is all homemade. Red velvet pancakes are OUT OF THIS WORLD!!! Staff is always nice and place is immaculately clean… I highly recommend this place.

Great place to eat, always clean and fresh. lots of specials all week long. the soups are amazing, homemade and packed with flavor. try it, you will be glad you did.
