My favorite corner store on Broadway. They have all the Latin foods I need, the prices are reasonable and the avocados and mangos are always ripe!

It has some familiar Mexican brands of food, but not necessarily the best or the healthiest(Bimbo bread = NO). I bought Spanish sardines and those were delicious(a bit expensive, though).

This place is perfectly respectable. Really. It’s what you would expect from a mini-market, except with a few more Latin products than you might find say in 7 Eleven. They’re draw is their convenience; perfect for running to grab a bag of sugar for the cookies you’re baking, though not the place to do all of your grocery shopping. They have sliced and semi exotic fruits and vegetables for sale at the counter… but I have yet to inquire as to what exactly they are. Amigos also has an ATM and a western union station. But I have to say that I tend to go to Tony’s Foodland(similar deal and two blocks down the street) over Amigos. They have a slightly larger selection, a little butcher section, and a bigger produce section.
