Beautiful store but the selection is much more limited than other stores I’ve been to and the prices are definitely on the high end.

Would have given 5 stars but the kid at the desk playing video games cost them a star! Place has a good selection with 6 sizes of Padron anniversarios. The lounge area is nice with numerous flat screens.

Excellent selection of sticks. They even carry a good variety of boutique stuff too like Ezra Zion, Chinook and Caldwell to name a few. Brandon is the guy I see most often in the store. He is pretty knowledgeable about cigars and always helpful and courteous. Love this place.

The second you walk in the door the kid is playing Playstation and doesn’t even stop to welcome us. Then as we are leaving he demands that we empty or pockets and accuses us of stealing. I kept calm as he grew in anger so we just left. Overall the store is overpriced ridiculously. He is charging 2 to 3 times normal prices for everything in the entire store. NEVERGOTOTHISSTORE.

My wife got me a gift card from here for my birthday. I used it to purchase a few Boveda packs and a nice Cohiba cigar, which I enjoyed in the lounge. It’s a BYOB with a hotel/dorm type fridge for keeping drinks cold.

I went the first time a couple of weeks and it was a great experience. The staff was friendly and engaging and the folks in the lounge were very friendly and offering seats to sit. Nice place to smoke and the cigars I saw seemed to be in a reasonable price range. Looking forward to going again and enjoying some time there.

This place needs some work, mainly with the staff. The kid that runs it seems to think video games are more important than customer service. I’ve called on several occassions and Ethan just blows off my questions, so for that reason I mainly buy online and smoke in their lounge for $ 2 The reason I can’t support«local business» in this case is the price are insane $ 25 bucks for a liga #9 that’s robbery. It’s ashame to because the lounge is great and very close to excellent food, I hope things turn around because there aren’t many local cigar bars in the area.

Hands down the best cigar shop I have ever been to. Their selection is top of the line and their prices are a few dollars cheaper than anywhere else I’ve shopped. The staff knows what they’re doing when it comes to the product, and will actually remember the customers and have full conversations with you, rather than just try to sell you something. This place also has a tasting room where you can actually sit and smoke what you just bought if you’re 21+, and they even allow you to bring in your own alcohol to smoke and drink. The level of customer service at this place is absolutely astounding.

Ashes and Embers is a great new business in Somerville. Large selection and a helpful, knowledgeable staff. Lots of fun in the summer when there is music on the street. A worthwhile place to visit.

Great selection and always a pleasant crowd in the lounge. The house blend cigars are great and at a great price. Excellent selection, including some hard-to-find boutique cigars like j grottos, illusioe, tatuaje, room 101!

Both humidor and lounge are better than average. Self-serve tables in the lounge are always a plus. I like the E. Carillo selection. Only concern would be identifying ventilation in the lounge.

My first impressions were friendly staff, knowledgeable of the different types of cigars, nice selection, and price is average. What I see that could enhance the cigar lounge, and increase business is to replace the pictures on the walls with large screen TV’s. Customer’s would come more often to watch their favorite sports team while enjoying their favorite cigar.
