They used to be as awesome as the other poster said. I recommended them to all my friends. And then something changed. They have become completely unreliable. The business line is dead and email is the only way to reach them.
They used to show up during a snow storm two or three times during the storm. Now you’re lucky if you see them once, hours after the snow has stopped falling and everyone else in your neighborhood has been shovelled out. During the big last storm, they hand shovelled property because all of their equipment was broken.
I’m sorry I can’t write a better review — Billy used to be great. I don’t know what happened, but I’m embarrassed that I recommended them to friends whose experiences have been similar to mine.

I have the great privilege of knowing Bill & Melinda, the owners behind Clean Homes, for over 2 years now. Originally, I found their business on Craigslist, when I was looking for a snow removal service for my house in Boston, back in 2010. Since then, I’ve used them for snow removal, house cleaning, plumbing, painting, even some other small home improvement jobs. I still use them today and recommend them to friends and clients.
This is a family-run business in the truest sense and they are honest, hard-working folks that provide excellent services at very reasonable prices. On top of it all, they are very diligent about their paperwork and billing, which I find to be rare in the industry. I get electronic copies for my records in my email.
