So glad I found this location on our recent Boston trip! I’ve been to the location in PVD& love it. Perfect place for kids as everyone loves pizza, I mean flatbread! For 2 adults &2 children we split 2 large pies. One cheese & one Sommerville special. We only left a few slices of the special & everyone was happy. Cheese is very flavorful & there’s the perfect amount of char on the crust! Wish we had time to bowl so maybe next time? Only drawback is parking but it’s the city & shouldn’t negatively reflect on the establishment. Pretty good & local beer selection too. Perfect spot for families!

I really didn’t expect a restaurant attached to a bowling alley to be any good at all. Frankly, I thought it would be a mediocre pizza place where you killed time while waiting for a lane to open up. Glad I was wrong though. I really enjoy the pizza here. It might just be my personal preference for flatbread pizza to begin with, but the pizzas I have had here are always crisp, a bit sweet, and delicious. The drink selection is quite good as well, I’ve been told. The area can be a bit cramped and loud, of course. Sitting next to the oven is quite a treat as well. Service is rather quick, but I will admit I am always here in the presence of friends so the passage of time is a bit different. There can be a wait for seats as well, but I’ve never had a problem being seated here. Oddly enough, they seem to fit a meal perfectly in the time it takes for a lane to open up, though that might just be good luck on my part.

Waited for 50 minutes to get a spot on Friday night. Food was good — wouldn’t say worth that long a wait but it helped that we had a good group of friends waiting together. The pizzas were great — you have to see the guy that flips the dough. We had the Equilibrium, Community flatbread, and the meat special with sweet potato and bacon. Our favorite was the Community one. Would definitely go back but probably not on a Friday night.

I’ve only had the pizza, but the menu selections were great and price reasonable. The atmosphere is good enough to actually enjoy a nice conversation over pizza, which is not a commonality among pizza places. Definitely worth a try if you’re looking for a low key dining experience.

This place is amazing! The small flatbreads are sufficient for the moderately hungry. Also, they have a good selection of beers. Not so much on the wines(all organic). The service was excellent! It’s family friendly and if you’re lucky, you get to sit by the fire where they make the pizzas! Overall, I would recommend this place if you’re looking for a casual evening with a family friendly atmosphere and delicious food and service!

We came to Flatbread during a boy scout fundraiser at the bowling alley. So it was a little busier than usual, but the bar is first come first served and there were two of us so we got a spot right away. The bar is really long with lots of seats and a view of the bowling lanes. The two of us split a small pizza and salad, it was the perfect amount of food. We actually ended up with a slice left over. Both the pizza and salad were selections off of the specials list for the evening. I loved the huge helping of goat cheese that comes with the salad and the house made dressing is delicious. Flatbread is easy to access from the Davis T stop on the Red Line.

This place is definitely a cool hangout spot. Big bar, huge selection of beer, sit down dining area, bowling. My only complaint is that it smells horrible. like old cheese. I know they make pizza, which looks tasty but the whole place just smells like sour food. I wonder if anyone else has this complaint? Anyways I would love it but the smell just deters me from eating, and even hanging out here

Ah, Flatbreads, how I’ve missed you. Excellent garlic cream sauce pizza with bacon plus local peas and tomatoes.

Great, because you can have beer, pizza and bowl. There is a bar, a sit down area, and a sitting area for you to enjoy your food and drinks. A good atmosphere of people. The pizza is good. What I really like from this place is their mixed drinks! They use fresh ingredients. Try their mint and cucumber gin and tonic or their raspberry fizz gin!

First timer! I never been to Flatbread before. We were a small group of friends who wanted to go out for a birthday occasion. You know when you are exciting and happy to go out and all of a sudden you meet a crappy personality that ruins your night! This is exactly my experience with this place. It’s all started at the check in. We saw a beautiful lady who took our names and was very helpful. We came very early because we know it’s Friday night and we are going to wait for a while. So, we were told 1 hour. That was at 7pm. So, we hanged out till 7:45pm and we went back to the front desk to check back in and see how it’s going. We meet that rude guy who doesn’t smile, nor does he care. He told us «No No No we told you 1.5 hours» no you didn’t. He was very rude. We wanted to leave right away but we didn’t want to ruin our friends surprised birthday. So, we suck it in but I promised myself and everyone that it was my first and last time in this place. It’s a good place and there are tones of nice people working there, but that guys simply ruined our night. An arrogant rude employee should not be upfront greeting customers. This is very bad for business.

Amazing location. Huge supporter of local food. Their pizza is amazing, and their salads are surprisingly delicious. They also sell this amazing wine that restores oysters reefs!

A Somerville gem. Great for lunch, company gathering and birthday parties. The pizzas are fresh, flavorful with great ingredients. A little pricey, but overall good. I like the laid back atmosphere and having the option to bowl. Try the desserts too. You won’t be disappointed

SOGOOD! I wish they had slices but then it wouldn’t be so special going there because I’d end up there everyday. Originally from North Conway, NH this awesome pizza chain is one of the best in the area. Not ashamed to say I’ve been to most of their locations including Providence, Connecticut, Martha’s Vineyard, and North Conway. THEYAREALLGOOD. This is the only location with candlepin bowling and it is fun to reserve a lane and go for a birthday or event. Think about it– most bowling places have terrible food so why not go bowling and eat delicious organic pizza?! Make sure you reserve months in advanced for the bowling because they book up! My favorite items are Salad with Goat cheese, Pork Mopsy, and Jay’s Heart. I always ask for extra dressing and dip my crust in it! SOEFFINGGOOD. I want it now… and I just had it yesterday.

This place is awesome! I’ve only sat at the bar and its one of my favorite bars in the area. Never seems too crowded and the bartenders are great. Always friendly and just the right amount of cheeky. The pizzas are fantastic. I’ve really enjoyed the kaluha pork pie and the no sauce cheesy garlic one(I forget the name). You can’t go wrong with any of them because the pizza crust is just so damn good. If you have room for it, get the brownie sundae! The candlepin bowling is really fun too but usually a pretty long(2+ hour) wait.

One of my favorite pizza joints of all time! I haven’t met a pizza I didn’t like here. The ingredients are fresh, the crust has the perfect crunch, and it’s in a super cool atmosphere! The only downfall is that everything on the menu sounds so good you’ll probably have a hard time deciding what you’re gonna order. The last time I went I got both of the specials, which were priced at almost $ 20 each. We had the BLT and a Spinach Rockefellar. My friends and I really enjoyed both of them. It was tough picking a favorite! The BLT was delicious, with tomato, bacon bits, and fresh lettuce sprinkled on top. The Spinach was packed with an assortment of vegetables. Both pizzas were devoured in minutes. My group finished off with dessert! We had the brownie sundae, which was incredibleee. They offered us ice cream flavors of vanilla, chocolate and pumpkin! The brownie was SO delicious and soft. It tasted amazing with the vanilla ice cream. The ice cream sandwich was great too. The cookie gave a nice crunch, but was soft on the inside. And the desserts are made with organic ingredients to top it all off! I highly recommend :)

My PhD advisor ordered a bunch of pizzas from Flatbread for a party after my thesis defense. He ordered all vegetarian pizzas — I only tried two kinds(pictured), but they were very delicious! I’m not even vegetarian, but I thought they were very flavorful, not that greasy, and the thin crust was great. The pizza was not soggy and the toppings held firm.

Sat at the table for 15 minutes before anyone even noticed us. A bit disappointing as this is one of my favorite spots in Davis. Staff made up for it by coming most of the meal. That being said. Outstanding food! Local produce, meats & beers! Great healthy options. Deff a great spot to bring large groups. The attached candle pin bowling alley is a bit expensive but can be a great night with friends just make sure to reserve a lane well in advance.

This place is totally solid. Walking in I wasn’t sure about it, but the atmosphere was warm and inviting, and you could see the ovens they were cooking the pizzas in. It was neat that you could see the entire process as it happened. The pizza that we got, while I don’t remember the name of it, was perfect(though very salty! so much cheese AND olives) — and a vegetarian pizza to boot, which is not always easy to find. I would say that a single large pizza can realistically feed two people. They sell tons of beer, and they sell it by the pint AND by the half pint, so if you wanted to treat this place like a beer tasting bar you totally could(no one gave me sass for my out of state ID either, though that’s neither here nor there). There is also weird bowling attached to it; I have been told that this weird bowling is a Massachusetts phenomenon. It seems like it would be just about a perfect date spot — good drinks, solid food to share, non-awkward atmosphere. I want to give it five stars, but let’s talk about some of the drawbacks. Everything that really matters here is great — but the pizza selection was somewhat limited, it would be great if there were a few more options before I need to strike out and Make-Your-Own. It was also kind of cold. It’s winter, so that’s fair — but I would rather not have been cold. Finally, when all is said and done, it IS a pizza place. I’m not the hugest fan of the take-yourself-too-seriously organic-sustainable-local thing, and to me that doesn’t add a ton of value, so the price, in the end, while totally fine, was a bit steep for just pizza. On the bright side, the atmosphere of the place was definitely more casual and did NOT take itself too seriously, so while I was there I did not have the misfortune of being distracted by the organic blah blah. ;)

YUM! I love this place! I got a vegetarian pizza — alfredo sauce, mushrooms, onions and broccoli and it was amazing. The interior was extremely cozy and charming with dim lighting and a wood fired oven. You may not even notice your situated next to the candle pin bowling action. The food is a bit on the pricey end, but I think it’s worth it. They do, however, have cheap beer — Narragansett cans for only $ 2.75. Anyway, it’s super trendy and cute and would make for an adorable date place. Take note. :) And the location on Davis Square is unbeatable.

The gluten free pizza crust is very good!!! Add a salad and its a great meal. I bring my friend and we share the salad, then I eat two slices and he destroys the rest of the pizza :). Its really loud because of the bowling alley but laid back and casual. Great place to go to hang out and grab something good. Keeping it simple is good all around!
