I cannot believe how horrible my experience here has been. I’ve been a loyal customer for over 8 years with Andersen and I have never been treated so horribly. I just bought a new car and the dealership sent over all the appropriate paperwork to register and add it to my existing policy. The agent, instead of adding the vehicle to my policy in concert with the existing quote in the system, ignored that and removed my current vehicle and added in the new one resulting in one of my cars being uninsured. This resulted in a large monetary loss because I could not get somewhere when needed as I hadn’t taken possession of my new vehicle yet. Their owner, when he finally called me back almost a week later and after repeated phone calls, yelled at me, told me it was all my fault and that the agent’s procedure was normal and that I needed to have my lawyer call his lawyer and that this would go to «litigation» if I chose to pursue the matter. I still have not been repaid the $ 600 I lost due to their incompetence. Their processes are illegal and could have resulted in my arrest or, if an accident had occurred, I would have been liable for everything. Even Commerce, Andersen’s underwriter, has said that their practices are illegitimate, incorrect and that they will require additional training. It is likely that there are dozens if not hundreds of drivers out there with an uninsured vehicle because of the agent Donna and Geroge Andersen’s actions and behavior. Don’t use these people as your agent. They’re not interested in providing decent care or having any sense of customer service, honesty or culpability for their errors.
