Great spot! You’ll find all kinds of cool textiles, pillows, quilts, etc. made with love in distant locales that are probably warmer than here. I meant to go in around Christmas time, but my fear of stores without other customers already inside kept me away (oops). Unfortunately, they’ll be closing in just a couple of weeks (this is a pop-​up shop), but the store is 30% off everything in the meantime, and their shop will remain available online as they search for a new home. Hopefully, they’ll stay in the ‘ville!

It’s a time to review my neighborhood gem. I love tribal ethnic stuff. I needed more statement accessories in my life. I have been happy ever since this came up my neighborhood and I have been wondering how I can spread the word of mouth. Forgot about Unilocal until recently. Although I love to fill my life with all sorts of things from the world, I cannot travel to places without toilet and clean water, if they are available, they tend to get cheaply made or too expensive if the quality is satisfactory — so this place was the answer for my wish list. It is reasonably priced, absolutely gorgeous cushions, jewelries and clothes!

I highly recommend visiting Secret Ships and purchasing their beautiful high quality worldwide collection of jewelry, pillows, blankets, baskets and everything else that you might desire. I loved the Indian blanket I got for my house, the Palestinian Pillows I got as a gift for a friend of mine, and the Turkish earrings. Secret Ships is great if you want to purchase a unique gift for yourself, your friends or for your beloved ones. Besides, the new store in Somerville is just awesome and is worth visiting. You get to tour the planet by visiting one charming store that is called Secret Ships!

If I don’t already own pretty much everything Secret Ships has for sale, I want to. This is a beautifully curated collection of fashion, jewelry and homegoods from around the world. Makes me feel like I’ve been places more exciting than Canada (sorry Canada I still love you). Secret Ships is guaranteed to make you feel happy and welcome with the riot of color and texture that greets you. Can’t wait to visit their first semi-​permanent location!

Awesome, global accessories for your home, apartment, and you! Affordable Palestinian pillows are my absolute favorite! I received a couple as a gift, and had to get more myself! Secret Ships offers an opportunity to decorate your home with authentic items from Thailand, Peru, Mexico, India, and more… all in one place! I’m going back to peruse their handbags — maybe a Mumbasa tote or a Hmong clutch… seriously, where else can you get such global variety?!
