I was getting the stink eye from the chef on my way out and I didn’t know why until I realized I forgot to tip… MY B THAIHUT — I completely forgot. Hope this review makes up for it. You know those times where you just want to meet up with old friends and just have a nice quiet Intimate conversation? Look no further! This restaurant is perfect for that + a solid Thai meal.

I’m not normally a big Unilocaler, but I was so impressed with this place, I’d be remiss not to write them a review. I ordered delivery online, and it arrived in less than 30 minutes — which I was quite impressed with, since I’m in Cambridge.(Also bonus points for the delivery guy actually coming to my door, not just calling me from the lobby of my apartment building like some places like to do.) Everything I ordered was absolutely delicious. The steamed dumplings were hands down the best dumplings I’ve ever had… and they were huge. The pad see yoo was also amazing — the flavor was subtle and delightful, and the noodle texture was perfect(not mushy). The sauces that come with the appetizers were also very tasty. I will be ordering from this place again and again and again, probably on a weekly basis. If I had to come up with one criticism, it would be that the portions were not as big as those that you normally get from Asian food take-out places — i.e., the containers were mostly full, as opposed to stuffed-to-the-brim. But their prices also reflect that, so all in all, can’t complain.

We tried Thai Hut for take out and found that it is a worthy take out spot. My red curry was spicy and sweet and the prices weren’t too bad. The delivery took a bit under an hour and beat the GrubHub delivery forecast. I would try Thai Hut again.

We love this place! Consistently good food, fast service and great prices. We order from Thai Hut often and have never been let down. Thai Basil and Drunken Noodle are favs!

My sister LOVES this place but I’ve been here a few times and as a vegetarian I’d stick to anything with noodles or tofu. Soups and salads are best avoided. Stay away from the Papaya salad, it’s a HUGE disappointment! It looks like it came out of a can and is served with gritty wedges of tomato sopping with sadness and a side of waxy iceberg lettuce. The soups are equally as unimpressive, they taste like something Campbell’s would make. That being said, I’m a vegetarian, what did I expect? Their Thai Iced Tea is nice, their staff even more so.

Ordered the peanut sauce dinner and specifically asked for it to be very mild. It was incredibly spicy and inedible. Had to throw out the entire dish. Also wasn’t credited for the order, even though I called and complained. Very disappointed and will not order again– I definitely wouldn’t recommend paying for this place.

First off — delivery was lightning fast. I ordered and doorbell rang in under 15 min. 5 stars for delivery. However, the food itself was average which is why I gave 3 stars. The Pad Thai had a bit too much sweetness and fish sauce. The Tom Yum soup was missing that punch of tanginess. The flavors were there but in the wrong proportions. This was my first time ordering and I don’t think it’ll be my last. Willing to try a few more dishes.

My husband and I had a great dinner. We had the veggie tempura which included mushrooms, broccoli, sweet potato, onion, zucchini, and green beans. It came with a really flavorful peanut sauce. We also had the yellow curry and spicy crispy chicken served family style. We had enough left over for tomorrow too. The service was great and we enjoyed the music. The dining room is small so if you plan to eat in, you should come early. We will eat there again.

This place is pretty small with about 2 tables so it might take a while to get seated. I got the pad Thai which was pretty good. This place is also a BYOB restaurant so we were able to bring in our own wines and store them in the fridge there. Everything is pretty cheap and the portions are pretty big so you will definitely leave here full.

I was pretty disappointed. Got the chicken masaman curry. There was very little chicken, the potatoes were not fully cooked, and the curry sauce was a little watery. The price was decent and the staff were friendly, but wasn’t impressed with the food.

I can see why this might be an overall 3.5 star rating, but hear me out – this little thai hut is great! Having lived in both a city with fantastic thai food(Seattle) and a city that has barely any(Providence), I think that thai hut is delicious! My three go-to items for this place: PADTHAI(a MUST – eat the pad thai pipping hot and just savor all that perfection), Basil Fried Rice(They give quite a large portion for take out, and I keep telling myself not to finish it, but end up finishing it anyway) and Thai Iced Tea(So amazing that you NEED to order this if you ever stop by the place, definitely on the sweet side but if you have a sweet tooth like mine and enjoy thick tea, this will be sooooo good) I have yet to explore more of the menu. I mention those three because I have tried other noodle dishes and was disappointed(their Pad Woon Sen in particular was bland and not up to par with the quality of Pad Thai) Regardless, this place gets a five star from me, because well one dollar sign($) and the food is legit good!

Overall the food was good, very flavorful and just-the-right-spice. Ordered delivery through Foodler: estimated time was 50 minutes but they arrived after 1 hour 40 minutes *Bangkok Wings: friend reported them«over-cooked» *Sweet & Sour Fish: friend reported it not too flavorful and«okay» *Yellow Curry with Scallops: yummy, just the right flavor, good n’ spicy(would order again) *Veggie Tempura: a bit soggy, probably had been sitting while putting together late order, but sauce with it was delicious *Sticky Rice: average Con: had to call after more than 50 minutes to ask about the status(they kindly said they were unexpectedly busy) Pro: driver was extremely kind too!

This is your standard Thai restaurant. Nothing amazing about it but it also doesn’t disappoint. I had the shrimp drunken noodles which were good and the vegetable dumplings which were good but the sauce that went with it could have been improved. Good spot if you’re looking for Thai food in this area so I would recommend checking it out if you’re craving Thai. Overall: doesn’t disappoint, good if you want Thai in this area

Ordered the sumari, chive dumplings, and pad thai last weekend, everything was drenched in oil, did not taste fresh at all. I wouldn’t recommend.

Great food and fast service. The charm of this place is that it’s a hole in the wall and churns out terrific, flavorful dishes. My go-to dishes are the vegetable tofu pad thai and pad see ew.

This is that rarity in the Boston area: very good food at very good prices! And Thai food to boot, which is usually a bit overpriced compared to say, Vietnamese. The dining space is tiny, just 3 tables, so if you want to be sure of getting a seat you will need to call in for a reservation. But that’s part of the quaint charm of this place, really… very cozy and pleasant inside. The actual food is not spectacular, but with generous portions and excellent prices, you can’t really complain. The older lady who works here is a bit gruff compared to the young girl(s) who sometimes fill in for her. Service is not super fast, but the food gets to you in a reasonable time frame. I always get their«Drunken noodles» but their other dishes are good too, including some(gasp!) allegedly Vietnamese dishes. The fried noodles are a little on the oily side but nice and spicy, not dumbed down blandified tourist food. All in all, only wish Somerville had more gems like this one… too many Yuppy traps springing up around here!

This is a very nice little place that offers decent Thai food. I’ve been here for a couple of times since I moved to the neighborhood, and been happy with it. The owner and servers were always fast. Most people orders delivery/takeout so it’s quite easy to get a table if you wanna eat in(I think it’s faster if you sit in and eat there). The menu is quite extensive, with most things you would wanna order at a Thai restaurant. I tried a few kinds of curry and all were pretty good. My friend said the papaya salad is below par though. In general, I like this place. Nothing fancy but good enough for me to keep going back when I’m lazy and wanna a quick dinner near home.

Have only ever ordered delivery, but we LOVE it. In fact, we had to cut ourselves off because we were ordering it at least once a week. I love the red curry. And the green curry. The pad thai is great. Love how many peanuts they give you. All the ingredients in the sauteed dishes are very fresh. The spice all around is pretty mild. If you like it really spicy, specify. Delivery is fast.

I found it! This is officially my go-to-restaurant for takeout thai food!!! I ordered the pad see you with crispy chicken and the chicken satay with peanut sauce. They were both delicious and the portions were fairly generous! I ended up saving a bunch to eat as leftovers… Score! I also want to note that the delivery person was really nice and friendly when he dropped off the food.
