This place has really good whites. You can even opt to do your tasting on the outside patio. Highly recommended if its nice and sunny out and you just want to chill out. Bought 3 bottles of wine here. They’re also dog friendly so I brought the pooch with me.

Wow, reading all these reviews for great service makes me a little jealous. I am giving 3 stars as a compromise as the wine is 5 stars but the service was a 2. It just seemed like we were more of a nuisance than anything. Maybe our server was just tired or something, but it seemed like waiting on us was a chore. In all due respect we did get to taste quite a bit of wine that was delicious and we did buy some, and I would definitely go back and recommend this winery. Perhaps next time we will get a host that acts like he is happy that we are there.

Great wine and a super helpful and happy staff. I enjoy their«Turbine» rhone style blends the most, but honestly all of their wines are good. They have a great variety to please any palate!

Look out for Buck! He’s amazing and extremely descriptive. Even if you are a newbie like me, he explain thoroughly on how it’s made, the aromas and the flavor profile.

Great service, great value. 8 tastings for 15 dollars. We went to three total places and this was the best just in terms of service. Wines were Great too!

Anaba Anaba Anaba! You sure did not disappoint the white wine lover in me! Upon arriving, the porch was not the ideal place for our group to stay in since it was raining and so we were taken to a private tasting room and was hosted by Doug. Such a great guy with many stories, he also is right on the spot with his wine descriptions and how he changed the sequence of the tasting complemented our palates. This was the only other place I decided to purchase another bottle of wine and the winner for me was their Late Harvest Viognier. It’s sweetness was very subtle yet bright and nothing I have tasted in all the dessert wines I have had. Both my partner and I bought this dessert wine and have yet to open one. I definitely look forward to that day!

We found this amazing place on our way to Mendocino and we are so glad we stopped by. Though I would occasionally indulge with a glass or two, I have no clue with the differences in wines. Susan was so warm, helpful and knowledgeable. The place is small and intimate. The view of the vineyard was amazing. Me and my fiancé were so impressed with their wine selection that we even signed up with their wine club(highly recommended). We cannot wait for our first batch of Anaba wine shipment.

I really loved this place. The wines were great and the cost was super affordable. We even got five dollars off with the Unilocal check in deal! The space feels secluded and the patio is so comfortable. I even found a Riesling I liked which I never thought would happen. The staff was attentive but left us alone for the most part and you really got a lot of wine to taste for the price. This is a little bit of a hidden gem, check it out if you are in the area!

Wonderful variety of wines to try here! We tried a dry Riesling, a Chardonnay, a couple Pinot Noirs(one light and one full-bodied), and a few others. All were really nice, but my favorite was the Riesling which I would’ve never expected. Dry Riesling? Who knew! I purchased a bottle that I’m looking forward to pairing with some spicy Thai food as Michael suggested. He was great– very informative and friendly. Anaba is a small winery with a pretty and intimate patio overlooking some of their vineyards. Highly recommend this one!

A true find! Buck served us a generous flight of wine, with descriptions and history of each. They waived the tasting fee for the four of us when we purchased some, and we also joined the wine club. Thanks so much for a personalized experience.

Two stars for great service, no stars for wine quality. My tasting notes repeat the phrases«too acidic» and«minimal character». I’m a big fan of late harvest wines, but even though their LH viognier had a great aroma, the taste was washed out, again with minimal character. Our pourer was very pleasant and professional. She offered our party another pinot noir after we expressed our dislike for the first one poured. My tasting notes reflected the general opinion of our party of four, and my wife and I base our opinions on 25+ years of wine tasting. I wish Abana every success, but we won’t be back.

We were up the hill at another winery when another couple recommended we try Anaba. The other winery offered a two for one tasting coupon and we headed to Anaba. We were greeted and presented our coupon and began our tasting. Wow great wines and fantastic port. The couple we met up the hill arrived and joined us. They were wine club members and recommended some wines and our tasting continued. The host asked if we were together and if so our tasting was free. Well played Anaba, because after tasting so many great wines I am eagerly watching my email for my alert to pick up the February wine club shipment. We really enjoy Pinot Niors and found Anaba wines to be just our style. Lovely small winery.

Had a great tasting at Anaba on a slow day right before closing. Our guide Buck was knowledgeable, enthusiastic and helpful. Susan his colleague was great — she gave our kids coloring books which kept them occupied while we sipped the wines. Now, the wines — outstanding Pinots, a great white rhone blend, a very solid Chardonnay, we tried 8 – 9 liked them all, though the Mourvèdre was lowest in our ranking. All in all, a great tasting, a convenient location and reasonable prices. Put it on your list!

A simple and very enjoyable tasting experience, I was glad I had a chance to squeeze in a relatively quick visit here prior to my other stops in Sonoma County. The server did a great job of managing the multitudes of groups coming over to the tasting bar and was kind enough to pour me a couple extra reds that turned out to be top notch. In addition to estate grown grape, Anaba sources fruit from all over Sonoma County and even as far as the Santa Lucia Highlands down by Monterey. My favorite of the vineyard designated pinots was from there and I was also thoroughly impressed with the syrah. On a nice day, definitely opt to have a seat in the outdoor patio with a great view of the surrounding acres.

Enjoyed my tasting at Anaba! We had a large group on July 4th, and they set us up with an outdoor table and a great tasting selection. The staff is really friendly, patient with the large group, and allowed each person to pay individually which was convenient. I’ve also come here without a reservation and it was easy to get a spot in the tasting room. Nicely located near other wineries as well.

Came here recently and had a great tasting. We sat out on their deck and the wine was consistently brought over to us. Our server was super nice, knowledgeable, and had a good sense of humor. All the wines we tried were delicious. Well, I wasn’t a big fan of the dessert wines but other than that the whites and pinots were excellent. I would have given Anaba 5 stars, but I really dislike when wineries don’t waive the tasting fee with the purchase of one bottle. Anaba charges for the tasting unless you purchase two bottles. My husband and I weren’t about to buy 4 bottles between the two of us… but we still had a great time. I’d highly recommend checking it out if you’re in the area.

This is a pretty good little find. The lady at the visitors center in Sonoma told us about it and gave us a discount card, because otherwise I doubt that we would have found it. It’s certainly not the most well known winery around. The do have a pretty sweet outdoor seating area which overlooks the surrounding fields. It is a little close to the main street nearby, so you do get a bit of traffic noise but it’s not too bad. The wines themselves are pretty good in an unconventional sort of way. They tend to emphasize white wines and slightly sweeter wines, unlike many of the other Napa/Sonoma wineries which are heavily pushing their cabernets. My personal favorites were the ports, which interestingly they have in both a red and white varieties. I don’t think I’ve ever had a white port until now, and I found it to be both delicious and novel. We took a bottle back and drank it at a dinner party that we had, and it was a big hit. I would go back just to get more. The other wines were good but definitely less notable. Overall, I think it is a pretty cool little place to round out a day of wineries in Sonoma, and definitely worth it just for the interesting port.

Anaba is a cute little place that we’ve passed by so many times but never had a chance to try. This past weekend, I made sure it was on the itinerary! The folks were super nice and we got a lovely seat on the patio. It’s a little loud since it’s by a main street, but that only makes me frown at the motorcycles and diesel cars going by. The good news is that the wines are pleasant and help you drown out the sound. If you haven’t had it before, you must try the white port here. Pro tip: With the Unilocal checkin, the tasting is only $ 5 per person. Can’t beat the value!
