Baskin-Robbins

I strongly believe in Unilocaling honestly, both questionable and standout experiences should be shared. I came by with a dear friend of mine just for a sundae and experienced a rare breed in Customer Service. We were cared for Diddre (sorry for spelling) who we considered to be one most friendly and professional individuals we have either experienced in a long time. His inviting spirit and informative approach was refreshing and appreciated. This is a young professional who will undoubtedly be an asset to any company he ever works for. Thank you for the amazing service! Oh, and yummy ice cream!!!

I custom ordered a full and a third size cake for my daughters second birthday. She picked the Nemo and Squirt theme. The design in the book was a little bla so I asked the cake maker if she can add lots of color and add tons of balloons and that was not a problem. I picked up the cake and it far exceeded my expectations. She added a rainbow border and lots of balloons and colors and really made the cake stand out. I ordered 2 cake Flavors and 4 ice cream flavors. The cake maker is awesome. I used to make cakes for Baskin Robbins years ago so I new exactly what I needed done. I recommend these guys for their wonderful ice cream cakes an everything ice cream. Thanks again!!:)

Somehow my husband blamed me for my terrible choice in dinner. So to make it up to him (even though it was my birthday), he said he needed ice cream.
This wins the award for cleanest Baskin Robbins I’ve ever been in. You know how the tables, walls, counters, windows are perpetually sticky.
He ordered a triple scoop of three different choices. Probably something like Rocky Road, Butter Pecan and something with Peanut Butter.
I got a mini child’s scoop in a cup of Pistachio. My husband got his cone on the side.
The customer service, shockingly enough, was so sweet and nice. Also not typical of my local BR’s.
We took our sweet treats back to our hotel, cranked up the in room fireplace, got under the covers and indulged. I threw lactose intolerance right out the window.

I was happy to see one of the few Baskin-​Robbins shops left. So many of them have closed. This one in Sonoma is good. Service was excellent and from what I saw that day I was there the shop is kept clean.
This shop offers mini ice cream cakes. I will have to stop by some time and try one. It costs about the same as a single scoop ice cream cone.

So here is the rundown, its a nice clean store with of course a large selection and kind staff who provide service with a smile. There is nothing wrong with this place and maybe I’m unfairly giving it 3 stars.
I gave it three stars because its Baskin-​Robbins, its a chain store with super fake ice cream. Which would be fine except in this town there are locally owned, and made ice creams shops with great ice cream that is natural and not full of dyes and chemicals and taste AMAZING.

The scoops they serve at this place are seriously the size of a small grapefruit. I thought mine was going to topple off the cone every time I licked it. Open til 10 pm, great for a late-​night fix.
I was a little nonplussed though by the 8 and 10 year old skater boys outside who had the foulest mouths ever… and then tried to distribute condoms to me.
