Loved it! What it lacks in décor, it makes up for in flavor and hospitality! Great food! Easygoing atmosphere! Thank you Edith for the friendly service!

Very retro and fun atmosphere. Breakfast was great and they had hashbrowns which seems to be hard to find in Sonoma.

Ok, not great, not terrible, prices are good. Biggest turnoff is they let people bring their dogs inside the place, which is pretty nasty

Poor service mediocre food. Instead of fixing our burnt food the owner told us he would«make it next time» why we had to explain we were out of town was ridiculous! It’s sad that it would have to even go as far as explaining why we wanted good food.

Great food. Great people. Good old fashion, stick to your ribs food. Not the fancy, schmancy, froo, froo food that costs an arm and a leg and you get a spoonful of this or that. Real food. Yes, real bacon, real sausage, real cheese, real eggs(never had fluffier), pancakes! Hamburgers, etc… Fries!!! They rely on good things, not a bunch of spices to cover over the real taste.

Absolutely awesome breakfast! Exactly what you are looking for in great diner food plus some unexpectedly gourmet specials. Pancakes are literally the best. Scrambled eggs are light and fluffy, and the breakfast meats can’t be beat! Service is friendly and spectacular. I’m from San Diego, and we make it a point to eat here every time we visit family in Sonoma… This trip we ate here both mornings!!! Love family owned businesses that just make epic food. Keep it up guys!

This place is exactly what you would hope it to be. Real hashbrowns, a chicken fried steak that isn’t terrible, and friendly upbeat folks that are there to serve you a solid breakfast. And, their burger ranks in Sonoma in the top 10 at least. Now, I’m not saying that everything on the menu is great. I feel like at pearls, you need to stick with what they’re good at: eggs, toast, meet… Oh yes, and great pancakes. However, they deep fry the French toast which to me is no good. On the other hand, they make their own hollandaise, which is also hard to find. Oatmeal, Jewelers Scram, Chicken-fried steak, The Usual… All solid.

Great food, well priced and fantastic service! The man that greeted us, served us as well. He was very welcoming and treated us as dear friends he’s known for a long time. Even if the food was ok this place is still great. But the food is Great! I enjoyed a ‘classic’ burger and it was delicious. Exactly how I wanted it. Great place for a quick bite and to take the family for good breakfast or lunch. I highly recommend this place if your rolling through Sonoma.

This place is absolutely disgusting! I can’t believe someone would voluntarily return to eat here. Everything is soooo greasy and heavy and fatty. Really mind blowing that this place is still in business, it’s like whitetrash Mecca.

We don’t get it? Multiple attempts at breakfast. Flat hard pancakes, wonder bread biscuits, watery coffee, mixed up egg orders, etc. They try but are clueless. Skip it. Many better options in the Valley.

It took 29 minutes for the waitress to take our order. The restaurant only had 7 people in it, so they were not busy. It took 22 minutes from the time we put in our order to the time we received our food. The food was mediocre. I asked for a refill of water. It never came. Had to find the waitress to give me more watwr. She was at the counter on her cell phone. Very poor service. Don’t bother going to Pearl’s. There are better places to eat for breakfast.

I like this place! The last two times we have eaten breakfast in downtown Sonoma we have stopped to eat here. I like the old 50s diner feel. I like themed restaurants. The food is good at a fair price. Sorry I don’t have any photos of the inside to show, hopefully someone will see this and think of posting a few after their visit.

No real butter in the kitchen. WTF? I ordered Applewood Smoked Bacon Benedict with Spinach and Grilled Tomatoes. Skimpy on the hollandaise(probably ready-made since THERE’S NOBUTTERINTHEKITCHEN), mushy tasteless tomatoes, soggy english muffin. The only decent thing in the dish was the bacon. The hashbrowns on the plate were suitably crispy. My friend only wanted an english muffin with butter on the side and the«butter» was a weird color of yellow margarine. We asked for real butter, but no. I won’t be back.

Hidden gem. Don’t pass this place up for breakfast. Owner is hilarious and they make some amazing food. This is where the Sonoma locals go to get great food. A little pricey but we’ll worth the coin. Love the old school diner feel.

So I felt it necessary to write a review… This morning I dropped the wife off at work… Thought, I feel like biscuits & gravy. I’ve gone to Pearl’s before thought I’d go again. So I get there… Sit down the girl hands me a menu and asked if I’d like something to drink. Yes I said, cup of coffee and an order of biscuits and gravy, don’t need the menu… She responds oh, your waitress will be by to get your order… A few minutes latter the guy(the owner I assume) calls over to me and asked if I wanted the biscuits and gravy? I responded yes, thank you… He asked how do I want the eggs? I said no eggs just the biscuits please. So at this point it’s all good. Got my coffee, breakfast is ordered. About 10 mins they bring me a biscuit with gravy… At first glance I thought hmm that’s only one biscuit. Whatever I thought if I’m still hungry I’ll get another. So I started in. It was good… Finished it up… Thought yes I’ll get another… About 15 mins later I get another biscuit with gravy. I’m thinking great… Finished it up. All satisfied… So I grab the check and walk up to the register and see the total $ 17.10… WTF I thought, two biscuits and a cup of coffee. I asked the guy, is this right? He response it sure is… That’s how we get you when you order ala carte… I was caught off guard… So I said wow… I did not realize it was ala carte. normally when I order biscuits and gravy there’s two biscuits. He says to me… I’ve been doing this for over 15 years… Again I was thinking to myself really 2 freaking biscuits a cup of coffee for $ 17.10… And let me add that these biscuits are small… I wanted to start in on my restaurant experience with all the restaurants I’ve owned and operated… But I stopped paid the bill and left… I will not be back. Honestly you think since he noticed I was noticeably confused he would have tried to make it right… But instead he tells me he’s been doing this for over 15 years… Well thanks a lot buddy…

Pancakes. I’m all about the pancakes here. They are thin, they are chewy and delicious. They’re like thick crepes; they lack the ability to ever be fluffy and dry. My full rating for now is 3.5, and although I only had breakfast while there, it made a very favorable impression. Portions are good, prices are reasonable(especially for this neck of the woods,) service was good. Personally, I wasn’t a fan of the deep-fried french toast, but the SO was. I’d go back for more. Especially dem pancakes!
