I brought a bag of pastries home and a friend and I devoured them with coffee without taking a single picture. Sorry. Fresh, delicious, mildly sweet. We split a sugar-topped concha, a vanilla concha, another pastry that had a light almost muffin-y texture that was split in the middle and given a light spread of cream filling(I think) then rolled in shredded coconut, and finally another cream filled pan dulce. All very tasty and went great with coffee. I have to get the names of these pastries down. Another good reason to return. One more reason: Some time in the near future, pizza — East Coast pizza — will be available. Check it out!

Honestly I wish I could say. Great service. It’s a family owned bakery but, they don’t follow their hours of operation. Which sucks when your craving some sweet bread. One morning I showed up and they were putting an Oder together I accidentally grabbed from the tray I wasn’t suppose too but, I didn’t know. It didn’t have a sign or anything. The owner screamed at me and said oh well just keep them. I didn’t not feel welcome at all! Good job Garcia’s bakery!

Garcia Bakery only had mexican pastries available, coffee machine broken. just 1cabinet full of pastries, unpriced. not sure of quality so inquire price, took 1 of each. eats: -«vanilla Concha?»(.60) large circular bun with white stripes on top very fresh, sweet tasting, lite texture –crème fiilled?(1.25) looked liked ½ of a turnover fresh crème, fresh, flaky crust crumbs: –not much variety, most probably sold out –almost fresnest of mex pastries ever eaten. –fast, friendly service.

Garcia’s has the freshest and most delicious pan dulce in town. For those not acquainted with Mexican pastires, pan dulce is simply a sweet bread. But not too sweet. It is more like a soft role or bun and it is so yummy with a cup of coffee or tea in the morning. My favorite so far is the Vanilla Concha bread. It is like a mini round loaf. I want to go back again and try more of the various baked goods. The bakery only accepts cash. No credit or ATM/debit cards.

Undiscovered gem! Not designed for retail customers, but they do serve coffee and pastries and have a few tables. Probably the cheapest coffee in town, and same with the huge selection of superb Mexican pastries, that I understand they sell to all the restaurants and markets in Sonoma. The business is owned and run by the nicest family, and it is not unusual to see the children working here after school. Very pleasant atmosphere, and the best value in town.
