I love this bakery so much! The princess cake is to-die-for, and I normally hate marzipan. We love this cake so much we ordered it as our wedding cake! Scandia was so nice to even do a custom coloring on the cake to match our wedding colors! Thank you Scandia!

The owner did a beautiful job completing the cake for my 1 year old son. I ordered a 2 tier cake with lemon cake on the bottom with whip cream, strawberry, and banana filling, and a chocolate cake with chocolate mousse and ganache filling for the top tier. They made a perfect smash cake for my son which he devoured. I really liked that I was able to bounce ideas with her and use her expertise and suggestions. She was right on the money! Thank you again!!!

All the sandwiches, salads and bakery items are the best! Cinnamon pull apart bread is moist and sweet and tender! We always call to reserve a loaf because they go fast! Great place to have a yummy lunch!

This is for the bakery and Myra, we were heading to a baseball game in Sonoma for my husbands birthday from Petaluma and got a flat tire on the way. Tire changed in record time, made it to Scandia with 3 minues to spare. Seeing two frazzled parents dragging a grumpy toddler toward the doors at closing time on a Friday… rather than shut the door Myra graciously served us, answered our questions and saved our Friday Birthday surprise. Thank you Myra and whomever hired this stellar employee! Oh and the cake was delicious too!

I had custom ordered a birthday cake for my daughter’s 5th birthday party in less than a week’s time. And, I couldn’t be happier with how everything turned out! The cake was so pretty and cute, but more importantly, it tasted delicious as it looked! No doubt, we’ll be back for next year’s birthday cake… woohoo!

I’m not going to lie, I had never even heard of a Swedish Princess cake before, and I’m not even that big of a cake fan, but man alive did this cake elevate my appreciation for not only cake, but the Swedes as well. I was looking for a birthday cake for a certain gentleman of discerning taste and a highly refined palate, so I was a bit apprehensive putting all my eggs in one basket, sight unseen, no direct references, on this bakery, but speaking over the phone with the friendly staff and multiple reassurances that it was indeed a great cake, I pulled the trigger and commissioned a beach themed cake birthday cake. Fast forward to the day I picked up the cake, the beach theme turned out surprisingly well considering I didn’t give much direction save to say, «beach theme, go», and then I cut a slice for the birthday boy, roommate and myself… blissful. The texture, cool temperature, sweetness level, layers of cream, cake, curd and jam in perfect harmony with the thin layer of marzipan encasing the cake was sheer perfection in one bite. I can’t even begin to explain how amazing it was. Basically, this noncake person has been eating leftover cake for breakfast with coffee for the past few days. So, would I recommend Scandia Bakery? Yes. Would I want to be a Swedish Princess every day? Yes. Would I order more cake from Scandia in the future? Absofuckinglutely. A big thank you to the staff for making my first cake order anything but seamless, perfect and delicious. The birthday boy very much enjoyed being a Swedish Princess as well. ;)

Delicious wedding cake!!! Affordable too!!! Everyone loved it & Marcella was awesome! On our first meeting our cake tasting was complimentary and we discussed all the details that made us feel confident that we were in good hands. Also ordered huge cream puffs for the night before for our rehearsal dinner and they were amazing too!!! I recommend scandia highly.

Happy to see an accessible bake shop next to Sonoma market. They offer breakfast muffins, danishes, cookies and scones. They also have specialty cakes available to purchase or preorder and lunch items. I ordered two large house salads and two waters to share with my Mother — $ 18. With other choices here in Sonoma fir these items I’m not sure I’d return. The hour I sat there no one bussed tables, I had to ask to have my table whipped down, floor is dirty etc. and I felt the salad was pretty pricey for olive oil, letteuce, carrot and onion — it didn’t have all the items listed on the menu(maybe they were out? But your next to a grocery store???) but even with all the items, I think it would still fall flat.
