Just because some Unilocalers posted the Epicurian Connection is closed Unilocal chooses to believe it is closed. Could not be further from the truth as the owner herself has tried to explain. The café was sold however the catering, cheese, and education parts are still going strong. It is a shame when incomplete information is posted and a business is affected by that negative report. The phone number is still good. Please call 707−935−7960 or . Why Unilocal chooses to not change the listing is beyond me and they should be ashamed of themselves.

Cheese. I love cheese. I have attended two of Sheana’s cheese making classes as well as have attended her Cheese Conference a number of times. The classes are fun and great for all ages. Classes are relaxed and informative while being professional and educational at the same time. First class I did with my mom and children and next time I did with our exchange student from Norway. What fun! It’s a great date day activity, something to do with your sweetie or friends. Or just go and enjoy and make some new friends! Ok, it’s holiday time, give a gift certificate to someone to enjoy! Sonoma is all about wine and food so become a bit of an expert one something as tasty as cheese and add that to your«foodie» experience and expertise list! Sheana is a gracious hostess. HIghly recommend taking a course.

Epicurean Connection catered my 35th birthday. Great local wines were on hand, including sparkling wine, pinot noir and sauvaignon blanc, also beer. We enjoyed great live music, selected by Sheana Davis(music + food + booze = win), he was a great singer songwriter, with a twangy punk country feel named Jon Emery. Everyone enjoyed it. Davis served her amazing Delice de la Vallee cheese with housemade orange marmalade on it, it’s a wonderful cheese that goes down easy and goes well with any pairing. We also had fresh, organic heirloom tomatoes with burrata, made by Davis, and local balsamic and olive oil. Also, cheese plates, featuring local Sonoma County cheeses, fruit, edible flowers and toppings. It was all served family style. The event was great, and Davis’ staff was professional, fun, and efficient. They cleaned up quick, and took care of all the necessities to make my birthday as stress free as possible.

My mother-jn-law booked this cheese making class with Sheana Davis for me and my husband’s 5th Anniversary. It was both educational and fun. We learned to make Ricotta cheese and we left with the materials we needed to make it at home and the recipe! Beyond just the class, Sheana was a pleasure to talk with and get to know! A great experience all around! We absolutely loved it!
