If you want a very classy, comfortable, and flexible venue for any event of 100 or less, this house and grounds should be your first look-see. Staff was terrific, both management and line staff listened and delivered beyond our expectations. We were hosting a brunch for out of state guests at my daughter’s wedding the day prior and I was so proud to present them with this beautiful venue and delicious food from Ramekins next door. We used the interior and outside spaces for dining and socializing. Our guests were very impressed!

I went to a family rehearsal dinner here and it was wonderful. I would highly recommend it along with their accompanying caterer. Thoroughly enjoyed the event and the staff was extremely helpful and accommodating.

Woohoo! Had the best 4th of July celebration at the General’s Daughter! From the delicious food to the bubbles setting and of the course the amazing hospitality/setting! Thank you for a fun 4th!

We held our wedding at the General’s Daughter in July and we couldn’t have been happier. From the moment we entered the venue, we knew we wanted our wedding there. Such a beautiful space with beautiful architecture, details, and a great flow for entertaining. Susan and Caren were our contact people for the venue and they were such a pleasure to work with. We opted to have food stations instead of a sit-down meal. We thought this would help with the flow, keeping people mingling throughout the night. It worked perfectly. The food and bar were all catered by their associated culinary school, Ramekin’s. Wow! The food is all amazing — beautiful presentation and so tasty. And the staff is all on top of their game — always ensuring the stations were well stocked. We had 4 different passed hors d’oeuvres: tomales bay oyster shooters, bodega dungeness crab tostadas, seared beef on crostini with whipped horseradish crème fraîche, and watermelon cube with goat cheese. All of them were hits, but I’m sure anything you choose will be amazing. Our food stations included a sushi chef, which was definitely a crowd-pleaser — our guests are still commenting about how much they loved it! And the local farmhouse artisan cheese display, soft taco station, mini pork and beef sliders, and miniature dessert stations were all outstanding. You can’t go wrong! We had 2 open bars — both were well-stocked and flowed well the entire night. Aside from the food, the venue itself is storybook. Also, General’s Daughter handled the wedding chair rentals for us, provided linens, dining chairs, plates & silverware, etc. Everything was flawless. We couldn’t have asked for a better venue or experience. Best day of my life. If you’re looking for a wedding(or other event) venue, check out General’s Daughter. You’ll love it!
