Who says you can’t mix business with pleasure? I sure won’t mind being a part of it. We came here to watch the Indy Car Race and for my boyfriend to showcase a deal with a company who sponsored an Indy Car that day. Ticket was $ 50, and can be bought right at the entrance I’ve been to few raceways and one thing I like about the Infineon Raceway is that it has bleachers in different areas and some are way elevated so you could see the cars not only when it passes right in front of where you may be seated. There are a lot of foodstands inside too and some cocktail stands and other beverages!

TheTrackClub: | 408−723−2099 My first track day — as a spectator. I went with 6 friends who all took their track bikes and ran the Infineon Raceway track. I think it’s about $ 250-$ 300 per person to race and free for all spectators like me! We drove in, picked a spot and unloaded all of our things. Canopies HIGHLY recommended considering how hot you’ll be after you ride in the heat! There was a lot of prep work such as riders’ meeting(Mark’s hilarious!), inspection and setting up your own tented area. Obviously, to fully maximize your dollar, everyone came early. We arrived there at around 7:30am and prepped until Group B was called. Each Group gets to ride for 20 minutes and then they rotate. There is also a mandatory 45 minute lunch in between. The first group after lunch gets to ride for 25 minutes. You buy your pass for either Group A. Group B or Group C, where Group A riders are the super fast, super experienced guys and so forth. However, that doesn’t necessarily mean that they are, considering you choose what Group you feel is best for you(and you KNOW some dude’s ego is going to over-estimate their own ability). I was told the best places to watch was at turn 2, the Carousel, and around turn 8 – 10. Turn 2 is all the way up the hills but it was worth it! Lots of knee dragging going on there! I didn’t go to the carousel but I went to turn 8 and turn 9. Turn 8 was crazy too with a few rider’s doing wheelies at the straight-away. Turn 9 was more technical, since it was a twistie. Good times! It was so hot! Definitely wear sunblock, bring water, your camera and watch the action! Lunch was not provided but they had a cafeteria where you could purchase lunch(hamburgers, hot dogs, turkey avocado wraps, sausage links, fries, fruit salad etc. about $ 5-$ 8 each — comes with fries). There were bathrooms, as well as showers inside. My friends rode their bikes all day until 4:30pm. Lots of red flags(meaning, lots of crashes — including my friend) so some sessions were cut short. Even as a spectator, it was well worth the trip and I definitely recommend this to everyone :)
