They stopped by our workplace today, and it was amazing. Best tri-tip sandwich I have ever had. Hope they stop by here again soon! Thanks :)

Tried this food truck twice at Bottlerock because it was so good. Chili — 3⁄5 — Huge chunks of meat, decent flavor, good consistency. Junk cornbread. Shrimp sandwich — 5⁄5 — Great taste, generous amounts of shrimp, sauce soaks nicely into bread. Triptip sandwich — 3⁄5 — Not quite as good as the shrimp sandwich. Good amount of meat and the sauce has some kick. Overall, this was one of the best food options at Bottlerock. «I’m a fan.»

Had this for the first time last night — they were at Deerfield Winery for comedy nite. We had the tri-tip sando and it was super yummy. I must say I’ve had tri-tip that was more tender but this was super flavorful with a nice bite in the chipotle sauce and some nice fresh coleslaw on it — soft fresh bread. I’d surely have this again and suspect they have some other yummy bites on their menu. Thanks!

Lived in Santa Maria for a few years and definitely have a craving for Tri Tip in sandwich form. This spot was a bit odd. The Brussels sprouts were great. There were pieces of what looked like bacon but they turned out to be roasted or dehydrated carrot which, while certainly not bacon, were good and unique. I demolished the sprouts even before looking at the sandwich. I grant that I waited a few minutes before tucking into the sandwich, but it should not be this cold. The meat was lukewarm. And the chunks are confusingly huge. I’m used to rosy slices somewhere between ½″ and 1 mm depending on the sandwich maker. This is like inch-thick stew pieces cooked well-done topped with lots of sweet coleslaw. I just don’t really get it. It’s hard to eat and not that good. I feel like you should be really good at the thing you’ve named yourself and painted all over your truck. Vineburg has better Tri Tip sandwiches on Napa &8th a few blocks east(though if you really want a good one, you have to go to Santa Maria where soccer moms make them on BBQ trailers at weekend fundraisers, every streetcorner has one and they’re all excellent and come with a side of beans, which I’m missing). In short, visit SPROUTS Brussels-Sprouts truck for some delicious Brussels sprouts and skip the tip.

We had TIPS cater our wedding in Sonoma! Most of our guests were from out of town and absolutely loved the concept of a Trolley food truck! Our guests are still talking about the food and said it was so surprisingly delicious! Consider them for your next event!

TIPS is as good as I hoped it would be! The Tri-Tip sandwich was so flavorful. I loved the sauce and the coleslaw on it, and the beef was marinaded just right. The slightly sweet french roll topped it off. This is some of the best Tri-Tip that I have ever had before. I definitely got my meat/protein fix for the night… yum.

Sandwiches are pretty good, although the pieces of tri tip are surprisingly large and a bit difficult to navigate while eating. One thing I really recommend is their spicy street corn.

my review is not automated or created with non sense computer software. i am a food lover from napa, ca and i dont understand why my review along with a fellow foody that agreed with me were moved to «not recommended». they are valid reviews that speak the truth. nothing even close to bad was said and was given a 4 out of 5 stars. my take is someone involved with the business is working too hard to «flag» my review because they dont want the truth shown. i suggest you read my review and take it for what it is nothing bad. –rudy,(a real Unilocaler from napa county, california) ps(dont forget to scroll all the way down and go to «reviews currently not recommended»)

Disappointing, very disappointing. $ 11 for the sandwich, $ 6 for sweet potato fries, $ 4 for ice cream and $ 1 for a canned soda. Sandwich was over salted and nothing special. Sweet potato fries were not fries, nor potato, nor sweet. Basically, six dollars for about 6 grams of sliced sweet potato. The Ice cream size was microscopic. Think about two large tablespoons. The drink was acceptable and properly priced. A complete waste of time and money, would never go back.
