Driving up to this winery has a beautiful view going up hill gives you a beautiful picture of a winery. Walking up the stairs to the wine tasting room we weren’t greater but instead stared at. Now when you walk In as a tourist lost knowingly you work in a tourist business you may want to speak up and greet your tourist. My friend and I walked up to a lady who still stared at us while we stared back at her waiting for her to offer us some guidance as to what or how or even where we start the wine tasting. So we notice the menu in front of us and I said«we want to wine taste» she then said«ok there’s the menu you can have a glass or a bottle and sit on the patio.» Just from that first impression which I think is everything, we got a glass of wine and wakes out to the patio. We did not want to give her our attention or stay with her for wine tasting. My friend and I got a glass of Chardonnay and sat at the patio table. Now this view and the weather made up for the first impression. The view would be the only reason I recommend this winery. We did get a older man come by(maybe the owner) greet us and ask if we are enjoying the view and to make we take pictures. If you want the winery view and a great picture then this is your winery!

Found a 2001 Samuel Cabernet Franc in storage. We thought a pleasant surprise. What a piece of shit quality cork. Completely fell apart and cork all in the wine! Would never buy again from this maker!

Beautiful grounds with a lovely terrace. Nice selection of charcuterie and sandwiches if you need a bite to eat. Wine is decent especially the reserve cabs.

Such a beautiful venue. Magical and wonderful. But the wines are just meh. I feel like I would just come here and sit outside and enjoy the view with my own bottle of wine. Haha What this place sells is on the experience. Food and wine for sale to enjoy the amazing view of the vineyard. It’s also a great place for a party or a wedding as well. This place does have ok white wines. The red selections aren’t that good. Even their estate wines were just average. They don’t offer generous pours either, especially if you come later right before they close. The one good thing about this place is that the wines aren’t that expensive. Overall there’s the pros/cons of the winery.

Garb, weak, no good, bottom of the pit. Sorry customer service, especially Compared to the wineries within the area. This winery HAS to be the worst of all. Should have known since they only had several customers compared to the winery next door that had a strong showing. This was our second visit, each was very disappointing. Wanted to give it another chance. Never again. Grounds look nice but that’s it. Will not return, EVER!!!

Amazing Italian-style wines! Book the outlook experience and you will not be disappointed. Anthony is an amazing host. Maybe grab two cheese plates if you are going to stay the whole hour and a half. Salted caramels are the best to send with, but all the truffles are delicious. Join the club and enjoy awesome discounts while being surprised by their smooth wine all year long.

I absolutely adore the viansa! I lived it so much that we did our wedding here! The venue is located at a top of a hill! So as you drive up there are big trees that you pass! Once you ge to the winery it over looks Vibeyards and a preserve wetland! They have spectacular views!!! For our wedding they have a newly built building to accommodate large events! It was very spacious and beautiful! The outside deck is lit up at night so you guests can freely wonder through the area. The have a private bridal room to accommodate the bride and bridesmaids! It’s in the cave were they keep wine barrels !!! This place is gorgeous and their wine was superb!!! Love love love the viansa!!! Our coordinator Kirsten hardy was a doll!!! She was very patient, knowledgable, and the sweetest person to work with!!! She is amazing and really professional! She went out of her way to make us feel comfortable and Very punctual on replying to all our messages!!! She’s such a gem! We got so lucky to have her!!!

New Yorkers adventuring into Sonoma valley. This winery is amazing. The staff is so friendly and accommodating. Our server Adrian was super amazing, his ability to explain each wine was superb. The owners have a true gem on their hands!

Every couple of months we drift up here from the east bay and marvel at its close proximity, forty minutes. The tasting room staff are consistently down-to-earth and personable, the wines are well-priced, and the array of artisan cheeses, breads, and crispy salads never disappoint. All this and a killer view. This place is one of my local favorites.

LOVED this place! It was my favorite on the wine tour I went on. The wines were delicious and the scenery was gorgeous. I’d love to go back. They have weddings here and it’s easy to see why — the whole place looks like something I imagine you’d find in Tuscany. It’s rustic and just gorgeous.

This place is a total tourist trap. The grounds are absolutely stunning, no doubt, so I can understand why people stop here. Unfortunately, I think they are doing a disservice to their patrons by not letting them bring their own food on the the grounds. Tons of wineries let you use their picnic tables and bring in food, of course you need to buy a bottle of their wine, but that’s perfect! I was sad that we had to leave Vianasa’s beautiful grounds because we could not bring in our own picnic. When we went back later for our tasting after enjoying our picnic at another winery. We saw they were charging $ 22 for a tiny plate of cheese. This is just sad… As for the tasting, we didn’t learn too much. Service was«eh». Out of our group of 4 none of enjoyed the wine, like at all. :(I know it’s personal preference but growing up in Sonoma County and enjoying wine on a regular basis you develop a pretty good palate. Their wines were majorly disappointing. I will not be visiting Viansa again, not even for their beautiful views. If you’re a local, I’d skip this winery.

I brought a friend here on July 10th. It was her first time wine tasting. She immediately fell in love with the beautiful grounds and view. After our photo ops on the way to the top of the winery, we ate our lunch first. I had a slice of pizza with a glass of merlot, and she had a turkey sandwich. We both thought our food tasted delicious. Inside, we had our tasting with Ashley. My friend and I shared the tasting.($ 10). The wine is very good. My friend is partial to the whites, and I like the reds. We truly enjoyed spending time talking with Ashley. I noticed that the employees all wear the same blue denim shirt, and was told that this is their policy. Every employee we encountered here was very pleasant. I know many brides choose Viansa for the wedding, and I can see why. I plan to return here again one day.

Viansa is a wonderful winery. There wine is fantastic but the grounds are spectacular!!! My favorite wine is the Pinot Noir, just right kinda of earthiness and sweetness. Just how I like it. You can also get some cheese and deli items in there market. They just got new patio furniture so you can sit out on the patio enjoy a glass of vino with some tasty snacks. My fiancée and I are getting married here next October and were thrilled!

Beautiful vineyards and grounds. The terracotta tiled villa is set on a hill and the surrounding gardens and paths are absolutely gorgeous. My friend and I came here for an olive oil tasting — unfortunately they have stopped offering them here! Our server suggested Jacuzzi Winery right down the road for olive oil tastings. They do however have $ 5(total cost) wine tastings and they offer some delicious charcuterie plates, salads, and sandwiches(we also noted Jacuzzi doesn’t have any meals). I had a delicious brie and prosciutto sandwich with fig jam and shared a charcuterie plate outside on the terrace area overlooking the land. Food was great and the view can’t be beat.

Viansa is absolutely beautiful! A must-see winery for anyone cruising around Sonoma county. My favorite wine was the 2013 Sauvignon Blanc under the«classic flight.» For Italian wine lovers, they also have a full-bodied Primitivo that’s excellent. Additionally, they have an amazing selection of food available including Mt. Tam cheese! Gorgeous vineyard and fantastic wines!

I just keep coming back. So nowadays I am a big fan of reds and know a bit more about wine. All those years at Sonoma State University didn’t go to waste. Came here to celebrate passing finals. And couldn’t miss it again on the graduation day. Call me an alcoholic if you wish, but I prefer a wine-spirit :) Their selections is very good. Their desert wines are still one of my favorites. I will be coming back over and over again. Took my parents here during their visit and they left with a bag full of souvenirs from their market.

One of my favorites, a must-stop. Large, impressive property, gorgeous and well-maintained building, veranda overlooking the vineyards(one of the few that have this hilltop view), exclusive wines not sold in retail, and super nice and accommodating staff. If that’s not enough, they sell yummy sandwiches, cheeses, and fruit. What’s not to like? In the summer, they have an outdoor grill. I still remember from 15 years ago getting a grilled chicken sandwich on rosemary bread, all the while sipping on some Pinot Grigio. A memory that will forever be. If you are lucky enough, prices on cases of wines as low at $ 79. What? That’s back to 1995 prices when Napa was just a wee tot. Go!

Very nice set up outside overlooking the gorgeous grape field. The tasting counter gets very busy and they only had 1 person… So it was very slow… Other than that very nice!
