Best local ISP out there, people complain that there spam filter sucks, but neglect to realize that they are an Internet.Service.Provider. Not Gmail, Yahoo mail, or Hotmail. In the terms of the company that they really are, they do a great job, and everyone there strives for nothing short then the best for there customers.

I would LOVE to dump these bozos but that means getting a new email address from a new provider and all of the hassles associated with that — notifying all of your email contacts, changing account information at a zillion on line accounts, etc, etc, etc. My biggest issue is with their handling of what they consider SPAM. Every day I must log on to their web site, open my email and go into my SPAM folder to move more than half to my inbox. Doesn’t matter if the sender is on my «White List» or an even more powerful Global White List. For whatever reason, they have an out of control SPAM Nazi. Calling them to complain is of absolute no use. I always, ALWAYS try to use local service and did when the comp[any I started with was in Sutter Creek. All was fine until this outfit in Sonora bought the Sutter Creek company, Communications Advantage. If you have a choice, pick the other guy.

Great service, Knowledgeable staff, and Consistent customer service. If you are looking for a local internet provider, please give them a call. I’ve been with them for years and haven’t had a bad experience yet. Richard on the help desk is a saint, Matt on the wireless side, and Ben’s oversight. Keep it up.(Im not sure what that person from Stockholm, Sweden is talking about.

Try getting AT&T on the phone when you have a problem with your internet. Motherlode has been great about getting back to me whenever there’s been an issue, though I have to admit, I haven’t had a single problem all year. I have always found Motherlode to be flexible. Yay, local guys!
