Probably my favorite place to grab breakfast. I usually get Grandmas B&G. For the price you get a pretty good amount of food. I eat a lot and am not a fan of breakfast foods but whenever we eat here I leave full or close to it and my plate is cleared. Waitresses are nice and attentive. Someday I will have to try their dinner menu.

My hubby and I are foodies and we have lived in area since last June, this is the best breakfast we have found anywhere around. Great service, very clean, fresh food and delish!

Just tried this place yesterday, I was pretty impressed, super busy, we sat at the bar, so we got to see all the food coming out of the kitchen, it all looked good. Friendly waitstaff, my coffee never ran out. EATHEREINSTEADOFWOODSCREEKCAFE, the food is good and they accept debit cards, what a concept.

Came in during a rainy day and was curious to try a few items and see if there was anything good. I looked all over their menu and a couple of items caught my eye so I went for their BLT with a side salad and their sweet potato fries. Service was a little slow but that’s no biggie for me. I asked for mustard on the sandwich but there wasn’t any. There was mustard at the table for self service so that worked. I asked for no mayonnaise and they followed through there. That to me is a big sign if they are listening. I can deal with self service but if any place puts stuff in a sandwich one doesn’t want, especially a condiment, adiós! It was a decent BLT on sourdough. I wanted an avocado added but they forgot to do that, at least they didn’t charge for it :). The ingredients and bread were standard. I thought they put in an adequate amount of bacon so that was good. The fries were decent, they provided a bunch for the $ 6 side. I’m guessing the oil they used was ok since my stomach usually reacts to cheap oil which happens more then I wish at standard places. The salad was alright for the $ 2.25 addition, standard. I’d come back for a value meal here. I’m not sure I would want any other items judging on what my friend got etc but it’s slightly above several other value places in Sonora.

We have eaten breakfast, lunch and dinner here. Every meal was good. Our favorite, anything with primerib in it. Always cooked to perfection and served so many ways. Great food, huge portions and reasonable prices.

Driving home from Mammoth, the fires closed highway 120, so we took 108 for the first time. Stopped with two kids(tween & teen) and two adults for a late lunch. This was the perfect stop. Something to make everyone happy, great service, good food, and home fried potato crisps! So glad we found them. Unilocal wins again!

Stopped in for lunch. Nice sized restaurant, which had booths, counter seating and open tables. Restaurant has a country feel to it and lots of chicken and rooster decorations. Two people at our table ordered the Crow burger. It was huge. We could have easily split this between the two of us. Also ordered a cup of the soup of the day; Potato, bacon & beer cheese. The burger & soup were delicious!(Came with a side of fries, not so impressive) We had very quick & helpful service. Bathrooms were clean, which always earn an extra star! Will most certainly return when in the area!

Absolutely the best value in the area. Great food, huge portions, very cheap. The service is even better. If I could give 6 stars, I would.

This is a great find. The food was the tastiest and the amount you get is well worth the money. The service was exceptional friendly and prompt. Will definitely stop again when in the Area.

What a disappointment. We were really looking forward to a standard breakfast place and this looked so promising. Good location, good menu selection, clean, pretty, good parking, good recommendations. The first time we went, my eggs came browned. I am sorry, it ruins the flavor of them, period. Uneatable. They were replaced, but the meal is rather tainted by then, the appetite is sketchy. I ate elsewhere after my husband finished his meal. Do they ALWAYS over cook the food?(Shiver.) The second time was much worse. Friday morning, the eggs were browned and rubbery, the hash browns were so black, so burnt I could peel the top off them, and tried to eat the small layer inside. The toast had black edges. When the waitress came back to ask how things were(overt half way through my husband’s meal(browned egg whites, sausage, burnt hash browns), I had eaten the inside of my toast and half the tough sausage) this was the conversation: Me: Do you want the truth? Waitress: Sure Me: Pretty much burnt, the eggs are rubber. Waitress: Well, the sausage isn’t burnt, is it? It got worse from there. To top it all off, walking away, the other waitress asked her what was wrong. Her replies, repeating our complaints were loud enough everyone, including for us as she was walking AWAY from us, to hear. Manners? None. She did apologize at the cash register and give us 10% off the bill, which I thought was funny seeing I ate 10 percent of my meal, not ninety. Hope«Papa» knows how low the food and service gets!

Good service and ok food. I really want to like this place more but the food is just kind of a little better than Denny’s or about the same.

Been here 3 or 4 times. Nice atmosphere — service is pretty good — cordial waitresses. The food is pretty average. Usually have breakfast here. The coffee is very weak — the breakfast sausage is very bland– tasteless. Large breakfast menu. Had one lunch here. The burger was not good — tasted like artificial. Haven’t been back for lunch. This place is not terrible — but certainly not great — merely average.

Build your own benedict! So good. Generous portions, good food, great value. Country fries are the best, I could just go to town on a plate of those.
