I order the jiminy and the lasagna rossa. All the food is good there. Place is small but that shouldn’t detract.

My wife and just moved from Dos Palos, and we were trying out different restaurants out here and we tried their spaghetti and meatballs. They were great. We will make this place to go regularly.

Great place for lunch. Come very hungry as the portions are extremely large. Ordered a half sub sandwich and thought I was getting a full size sub. Bread quite good and very fresh. Everyone was leaving with a box with leftovers. Different soups each day, my favorite is seafood chowder on Tuesdays. Wife and I split a half sub and each order a cup of soup. Service is very friendly and some of the ladies even call me honey. One of our favorite places for lunch in Sonora.

I saw all the great reviews and thought i have to try it. I was very disappointed right off the bat with the menu. Only one thing i could order and it didn’t sound too good.(Veggy sandwich) Since I’m on a cholesterol free diet i avoid pork and beef. I have B type blood so no chicken, either. I decided to order the turkey for my son and try the split pea soup. Well it took a good 20 min. When we got home there was 2 paper thin slices of turkey tones of tomatoes a trickle of lettuce and some yucky olives. The pea soup had pork! I was very disappointed. I guess I will stick with subways packed tuna sandwiches which blow away Pinoccios measly sandwich… Ok the bread was good.

Great food for the price. Happy friendly staff. It’s got a bit of a strip mall vibe but if I’m around here again I’ll come back

I’ve been twice and wasn’t impressed. The first time I got tortellini and it seemed like a small portion for the price and was rather bland. The second time I got a sandwich, again I felt like I got jipped, not very much meat and it was dry. Both times service was very slow even though there was hardly anyone in there. Maybe I just went in on bad days or something

Went to Pinocchio’s with la familia on New Year’s Eve for lunch and was delighted with the soups and sandwich we tried. The part however that was more impressive was the customer service. After leaving the restaurant we drove to go play at a snow park(45 min. away). When I reached for my credit card to pay at the park it was not there. I then called Pinocchio’s and was relieved that it was there. The issue however was we were 45 min. away and it was closing time. There was not time to go back and the restaurant would be closed for the next couple of days for New Year’s and I needed it to check into our hotel. I asked Sarah if it would be possible to drop it off at our hotel and she said yes. I then told her to please charge some $ on my credit card for her troubles and she didn’t. When we got to the hotel my credit card was there! The next time we are in Sonora I know where we’ll be going for great food and even better customer service.

Salad was great, service was awful, never saw the waitress again after food delivery. no water, no check,…nothing! Ordered a french dip steak sandwich that was inedible because it was saturated in black pepper. I commented on it to a passing waitress since ours couldn’t be found. She just shrugged, no offer to have it remade or order something else. I had to literally leave my entire sandwich on the plate it was soooo bad. Used to love this place, won’t be going back.

The Best! I would say the best in Sonora but we aren’t from here and this little Jem could hold its own in any city, anywhere! The White lasagna is amazing with little thin slices of zucchini, the house salad dressing is also so delicious I had to buy some to go, the music is great and the décor is entertaining and fun. The service is also great! Oh and don’t forget the tiramisu :))))) AWESOMEFOOD!!!

Amazing Italian hot sandwiches. Definitely a good local spot to stop for good food. Always consistent and quickly done orders. Very good prices for the amount of food you get. Try the Jimminy Cricket!

We went after seeing the music man. I loved my Jiminy cricket. I asked the sever what I should eat and she picked right. My wife wasn’t too happy with her bolognaise so that it not 5stars. I’d go back for another Jiminy cricket for sure

Nice«mom and pop» place. Friendly service, good prices and good portions. Sara was a delight! Husband had the alfredo pasta and was very good. However the Lasagna Rossa was excellent. It’s the best lasagna I’ve ever had. Well done! We were too full to try the gelato but it look good!

I had the meatball sub and a salad. The salad was so fresh I ate the whole thing!!! Cut up into perfect bite pieces! Love the extra detail. The meatballs were delicious and the sauce as well. The bread was a little scorched but did not take away too much from the delicious taste of this sub! The waitress was fast and friendly and the entire experience was wonderful. I will definitely be back to visit this gem in a shopping plaza!!!

My story starts as a patient in Sonora Regional Med Center. By the second day the food was horrible so I sent my HB to bring me something that I could eat. He ended up bring me a sandwich from Pinocchios that was delicious. Today we went there again and still, delicious! We’re looking forward to trying their pasta dishes! Two months later: came here for ravioli ‘. Delish. We will be back !
