Only putting one star, because Unilocal forces me to. I have used the copy center twice, and both were horrific experiences. DONOTUSETHEIRONLINECOPYSYSTEM!(That’s the most important part, to sum up my review for future users). Save your time and just email the file to their email account. The first time: I sent in my order for 3 copies of bridesmaid invitation cards for my wedding. I waited the 2 days that the online system told me to wait, and when I showed up, they had no idea about my order whatsoever. So the girl working looked up my order online and did it right there… but, could not get the size right. They wasted many copies trying to get my order right. Then, I went to cut them to size, and their cutting board is TRASH and ripped up my bridesmaid invitation. I had to cut them out with scissors to get them to look somewhat professional. The second time: I had to go back because one of the invitations got lost in the mail. I only needed one copy. I used the online copy system and came to the store a week later, hoping that I had given them enough time to find my order and print it out. When I got there they, again, had no idea that I had even sent anything in. When they found my order and tried to print it out, their computer wouldn’t communicate to the copier. So while they were waiting for that, they charged me triple what I was requesting. Turns out, they were trying to redo my copy that I turned in WEEKS ago. So they then, had to give me a refund for the two I did not order. I waited for OVER40MINUTES while they tried to figure it out. I came up with a solution that took 5 min to fix their copy issues… BUT, their copier would not print the correct colors. So thank you Staples, for making me pay for my bridesmaid invitation that now looks like a baby shower invitation because apparently your printers do not know how to identify simple colors. The only positive thing I can say about this experience is that the girl who was helping me was apologetic and kind toward me even though I overheard her telling her coworker that her last day was Saturday. Sorry that Staples is losing a kind and compassionate employee.

So I guess it could be worse, but not much… I ordered engineering prints online on a Wednesday, they said they would be ready Thursday, I stopped in Friday and they still weren’t ready, they hadn’t even seen the order, or begun to process it. One of the things that was the most irksome was that while I was standing there waiting for news on my order, the 2 employees behind the counter were discussing other orders, talking about random store stuff, and ignoring me. I had to interrupt their conversation to ask questions. When they finally found the order and said it would be a few more days, as they were telling me this they were busily typing and working away, I wasn’t sure if what they were doing was related to my order and if they would be needing more info from me, so I continued to wait… Finally I had to just say«Ok, so I’m leaving, see you in a few days». Fast forward 4 days, my order is ready and I go to pick it up. Absolutely everything was wrong. Wrong sizes, wrong color(one was supposed to be B&W), wrong paper weight, and the color itself was WAY over saturated, there were colors in the prints that did not even exist in the originals. The cashier offered to give me a discount, but since I had already paid online, that was not very useful to me. She offered to have a manger come talk to me, but I was in a hurry and had to go… The Staples print and copy website is a disaster anyway, and with this experience now I doubt I will be using their copy or print services anymore. The only reason they got 2 stars is because the last employee I saw was at least attentive and tried to be helpful.

Ordered a kindle thru staples online for a store pick up because it said they had 3 in stock. Paid for it. The money got taken out of my checking account, but i Didn’t receive a confirmation email by 4 so I went into the store. Everything was so disorganized when I walked in I thought«wow staples is really going down hill.» I went to customer service and he said that they didn’t have one for me to pick up. So he called the RUDE manager with unflattering tattoos over and she said«there are no kindles in this store.» I explained to her that it said they had three and money has been taken out of my account. She said those are broken. Clearly there is no communication with this store. As soon as they received my order is it hard to at least call to tell me they do not have kindles in stock so I don’t waste my time? Not to mention he money was taken out of my account and was not put back in for 5 days… It can get taken out right away but takes nearly a week to get it back. Will not shop here again. Even if you do want something it is unlikely it is in stock

If I could do no stars I would. First off I had to walk the store for about 5min before I found someone to help me. Then he sent me to the wrong isle. The line I entered had one cashier and about 8 people in line. It took 2 more people to come into the line for another team member to come and he had food in his mouth and was chewing while ringing me out! And took along time to check me out for ONE item. Just overall bad experience. Always slow there I think corporate needs to have a visit

They said online my Christmas cards were ready. I drove from Arnold to get them(1 hour) and they said they didn’t have them and it MIGHT be 5 days. Wtf? Not to mention the store is a disaster. I bet they were there, the store is just a mess of boxes and disorganized stuff everywhere I doubt they can find anything. I guess my cards will be valentines cards now. Also the women behind the counter were absolutely nasty. Talk about not taking pride in your appearance and having no customer service. I came early in the morning and with absolutely no one there, they still made me sit and wait, 8 months pregnant with two kids in tow. I will never spend my money here again.

I always go to staples to print out pictures and last time I went I was helped by the nicest associate ever! Tori made my day! Not only did she help me find the best sizes to print out but she did it with a continuous smile on her face which made my day! I was able to pick up my photos the same day and was very pleased with my experience in the copy center which dosnt always happen. Thank you tori for being the best!!!

Today I wrote this letter and emailed it to Staples Corporate Responsibility Department: To Staples Corporation, I have been a loyal customer, shopping at Staples, Sonora, CA, since it opened in my town. There’s hardly a week that goes by without me stopping in to buy something. Your Sonora store has great employees, as well as a fine manager. I am in there often enough to be on a first name basis with many of the employees there. Today I found out about Staples’ plan to cut its employees’ hours to avoid paying for health care. I signed«Sue’s petition.» I won’t spend another nickel in Staples until this policy is reversed. I am ready to share the petition on my Facebook page with more than 1,000 friends. I care about Staples employees, and our community will not tolerate this betrayal from the Corporate powers at Staples. Do not sacrifice your employees’ health for higher profit margins which might not materialize as word gets out at the speed of light about Staples abandoning its true corporate responsibility. What a change in Staples over the last few months! A business that couldn’t care less about my business to a business that actively tried to help me solve a problem. Paulo Kanga, the Sales Manager, was efficient, friend, fast, careful, and sincerely wanted to help me. Wow. And when a solution was not ready at hand, brand new General Manager Albeir Elias jumped in and the two of them were helping. I can’t believe the change in this Staples over just a few months ago. A can do attitude and pleasant staff– I’ll be going back.

Went into Sonora Staples, spent close to $ 400 Dollars for a new Tablet, bought in addition a case and a protective film cover. Asked the staff and manger if they could assist me with applying the protective cover. The response, «That will be another $ 9:00 dollars. I call it customer service.
