Brought my bike in there about 7 months ago. Got a quote, then the price doubled later on. After about 2 months with no phone calls, I decided to call and get an update. Never answer their phones and rarely call back. Kept getting excuses about parts being shipped ect… After about another 2 months! I went by the shop and my bike was not even touched. At this point, I’m fed up. They are very unprofessional and apparently take on to much work that they can’t handle. If you can’t get the bike done, then say so! After six months, finally got it back and went riding. While out in the middle of nowhere, my friend noticed oil on the motor. After getting it back to camp and further investigation. They didn’t put the gasket on the head bolt!!! REALLY, WHAT A POT SMOKER MOVE! That place sucks! Ohhh, and did I mention that when I picked it up six months later he tried telling me it was gonna be 400 more!!! That Chump should be paying me money for the six month wait and crappy service!!!

Richard has worked on some wacko problems for me, and has been a champ getting hard-​to-​find parts, ordering foreign wiring diagrams, and at fair pricing. I go in very rarely, but he remembers my name and my issues. I’ll continue to use him.

GO SOMEWHERE ELSE! This place is the definition of irresponsible and unprofessional. The first time I went there for a tire change they left off a pinch bolt on my swingarm. The second time I tried to get my bike dyno tuned there and they rescheduled and blew me off for 5 weeks. Finally I got to bring my bike in and they called me back and canceled while they had my bike! The next day, after specifically requesting to be present for at least one run, they called and said it was done and to come pick it up. When I got it back (this is 6 weeks now) the bike ran horribly and could barely go down the road. They promised me a dyno sheet via email which not surprisingly due to how the bike ran didn’t ever show up. To top it all off they left a rag in my cargo compartment and kept a screwdriver of mine. They took my money and left me high and dry. Never again.

I’ve been an incredibly satisfied CycleImport’s client for over three bikes now. Richard, the owner, is a wonderful person and a fantastic wrench. He had my Fz1 re-​jetted and fit with a new exhaust system, My Fireblade serviced, dyno’d, and prepped for the track, and my Hayabusa completely overhauled. I’m not local– I ride over the hill to have my bikes serviced and upgraded. I believe the extra distance is definitely worth the superb craftsmanship, sincere pricing (their hour rate is more than reasonable, and Richard quotes the exact time he worked on each item, down to the minute!) and impeccable service.
