Food is very tasty and service is fast — so fast that we felt rushed out the one time we thought to have a leisurely dinner with friends. But otherwise it’s great.

Food is awesome. Margaritas are expensive but worth it. DONOT like paying $ 2.00 for chips and salsa per order. It’s not right.

The concept seems a little odd … Thai and Mexican on the same menu. Having said that the food is great. Service can be a little slow though. I understand the Thai part of the menu comes from the chef here, who used to be at(the now defunct) Siam Thai. The food is fresh and reasonably priced. From the outside, it is a little hard to tell what this place is like, but it is well worth a visit.

Hubby and I went gir the first time almost two weeks ago. We loved it. Parking was limited in front of building since road work is going on but the excellent service and God was worth it.

Mexican and Thai food, not fusion completely separate. I’ve been 3 times and ordered off of both sides of the menu. All together bland and unmemorable. On the plus side, its cheap and the service is always kind and helpful.

Wonderful experience! I went as part of a large group. We had a side room that made it easy to talk. Service was perfect, food was outstanding, many menu choices and we were all happy! I will be coming back!

Menu price at the door is not updated, which is very confusing. Wait forever for the food. Disappointed.

We went here for the first time tonight because we had a groupon. It was SO good! My husband and I each had a Thai entrée, I had the pad Thai and it was amazing. ***pro tip*** they’ll ask you if you want it spicy and you choose between a 1 and 5 spicy rating. My husband and I each choose level 2 spicy, as we both enjoy spicy food but were unsure how spicy their spicy really was. Let’s just say that in the future, we will both be getting a 1, as 2 was very hot!!! It was so good but oh man it was defiantly hot!

Food quality seems to be suffering. I really liked this place up until recently. The food seems to be bland and portions are small. What gives?

We had the stuffed mushroom appetizer — Very good! I had the chicken fajitas and all I can say is they are the BEST I have EVER had!!! And the guacamole was delicious. Husband has a burrito and also thought it was excellent. Very attentive service as well. Will DEFINITELY be back!!!

Third visit to Cinco 5, moved them up to 5 stars. Food quality and service are consistently excellent! After a quick vote we decided to return to Cinco5. We had chicken satay for an appetizer, the peanut sauce was really nice and it was served with a little side of cicumber salad. It was incredible of you put a little salad on your fork and a slice of chicken w the peanut sauce. I could have eaten that alone all night. My daughter had seafood fajitas w shrimp scallops and squid that were great, my wife had blackened fish tacos(again), my son had macho nachos and i had the bistec ranchero. Mine was a thin slice of beef skirt, tenderized and marinated… Grilled and served with a warm chunky pepper and onion salsa, some rice and refritos and sour cream on the side. It was incredibly good and everyone at the table jad some and loved it. We also shared a flan for dessert… it was more dense like cheesecake than I expected but it was good and nicely presented. We had the same server as our initial visit, and she was just as good. Very friendly and engaging and seemed to manage a very busy section of the restaurant well… we never had to ask for a thing. Check out Cinco5, you will be pleasantly B. surprised.

My husband and I stopped in for a recent weekday lunch thanks to a $ 20 groupon we had. It wasn’t too busy, service was spot on and we were actually able to get in and out in just under an hour. The lunch menu includes a mix Mexican and Thai options(the Thai is a carryover from the former Siam Thai restaurant). Prices are very reasonable — if we hadn’t ordered an app, we wouldn’t have used the full Groupon value. We couldn’t resist the guacamole as a starter and it didn’t disappoint. The only downside was that the chips were a little greasy. I ordered the Mexican quesadilla with chicken, cheese and fresh jalapeños — the perfect amount of spice. It was served with a side of guac, rice and beans. My husband gladly helped me out with the beans and said they were great. My husband opted for one of the burritos with steak and chorizo which he loved. Our waitress was great — drink refills without asking and checking in at the perfect times. We will definitely be back!

Nice restaurant with a varied international menu from all over, good service, good prices in a good downtown location, opposite La Salle Grille. Décor is a bit basic. Free chips & salsa for four. The Sizzling Chicken Fajitas was the night’s special for only $ 10 — good value! We also tried the Fish Soft Tacos, the Italian Spaghetti Carbonara with chicken, and the Fish Fajitas, which looked like whole boneless breaded-white fish laid on top of the sizzling onions and green & yellow peppers. We also got a side of French Fries. Shared dessert at the end was the fried banana and ice cream. All in all: good. Would definitely go again. Recommended.

We had 3 different things on the Asian menu. None were outstanding but okay. Service was nice and quick. Free Chips and salsa at table were great. I think I would try something from the Mexican menu if I came back. $ 2 dollar margaritas were pretty weak. But hey it’s a $ 2 margarita.

I hate to give them such a bad review because their food was excellent the first time we went but this weekend there were definite health code issues. 1. We were served guacamole that tasted spoiled. It tasted and smelled like spoiled chicken. We took one bite and couldn’t eat any more. Complained to waiter and he was rude. He told me, ‘maybe you just don’t like guacamole. you probably don’t know what good guacamole tastes like”. 2. The waiter carried our spoiled guacamole(guacamole that my family and i had tasted) to another table and offered it to them as a ‘free sample’. He specifically told the other table that it had been served to us but we didn’t want it. The waiter told the table, ‘don’t worry they didn’t eat out of it”… but we did! When I told the waiter that was against health code, he got rude again. Called health department on them first thing Monday morning… Sad because the food is good but health practices are important!

Blackened shrimp tacos. Just fantastic!!! Why go for the fake Mexican food at you know where. Not one negative thing to say after many visits.

I tried the chicken Chilaquies, it was delicious. Very nice wait staff, cute unique décor. They also have the chef from Siam That, so they also have a Thai menu. So, if you were a fan of Siam That when it was open you can still get your favorites here.

I seriously LOVE this place! The food is fantastic. .always fresh and full of flavor. I love that I can have authentic Mexican food one day and maybe the following visit I’m craving Thai food… it has variety without being overwhelming. The staff is friendly and courteous and I just love coming here. It has a little bit of everything and enough to satisfy different tastes. I’ve had the blackened Tilapia tacos, which are AMAZING, chicken fettuccine alfredo, steak, and Pad Thai. Nothing has disappointed me… everything has been delicious!
