We had really pleasant dinner here largely in part due to our server. My husband and I got the sizzling chicken and spinach. It came with a caprese salad. It was a nice surprise. My son ordered the burbon burger. He didn’t like the sauce — not really the cooks fault– but they gave us a free app or dessert coupon anyway. It was a quick and easy dinner.

Enjoy coming here. Consistently good food and service in a decent atmosphere and fair prices.

We dropped in to watch a game fans have beers and apps. We sat at the bar ten minutes before anyone took our drink order. At twenty minutes, I called another restaurant for takeout while sitting at the bar.

The Fridays on the South Side of South Bend is by far my favorite. If you want to eat in the dining room be sure to ask for Vanessa. She is a great server and has awesome suggestions. At the bar look for Chris and ask him for one of his signature drinks. He is a great bartender.

Awesome service. Great prices and specials… Endless lunch… soup, salad, breadsticks, and a drink for less than $ 7…3 buck Thursdays featuring options like Long Island Iced Teas, Margaritas, Spinach Dip, and lots more… half priced apps everyday in the bar after 4. What’s not to love?

Our server was polite & efficient. Not a lot on the cheerful or friendly side. Surprising for 3 in the afternoon and only 10% busy. Had the blue cheese steak — very good. They definitely didn’t short me on the blue cheese crust! Good! 3 part appetizer was good — with Mozz, boneless wings & fried green beans. All were premade frozen, but good. Fridays seems to always have most of there stuff frozen, but I suppose that keeps them from screwing it up.

The nachos bumped up the stars! Dry steak, soggy broccoli and cold potatoes = a bad meal. Thank God one of the meals were free! The Fridays on grape road is better.

The menu is deceptive. You think you’re paying one price, the one in bold letters, and you end up paying for a double portion, which wasn’t in bold letters. If you tell the barely 20 something manager, you get a shoulder shrug. Not only does the staff not point out the deceptive print, an act with may or may not garner them a larger tip(it would with me), but they are quick to enter the larger portion as what you so obviously must have wanted. Additionally, I asked for one type of seat, and was quickly given a different one. I’m almost sure the problems stem from the corporate culture, but if they can pin it down to a local manager, they should find a new line of work.

The calorie count is through the roof here. Shame on them for not offering one single healthy menu item. Even the staff are overweight. That should tell you something. Update: So a year later, I try TGI Fridays again and they finally have some healthier options, so I changed my rating from 1 to 2 stars.

I have become addicted to this place. The best part of this place is the servers — if you go there make sure you ask for Ashley or Jeremy. They do a great job and they are our favorites. Dishes I would recommend: Sesame Jack Chicken Strips, Spinach Dip, Potato Skins, Fish and Chips, Bruschetta Chicken & Pasta, Gourmet Mac and Cheese and Vanilla Bean Cheesecake. In the past I would recommend the brownie but they just the portions in half but charge $ 5 so not worth it.
