This was the absolute worst experience I have had since I started planning my wedding. I live in Charlotte NC and have already purchased my dress at a DB there(so extremely glad I did, because I certainly would not have purchased a dress from this store) but my bridesmaids and flower girl live here in WV, so I made us an appointment a week in advance to try on dresses for them and find accessories for my dress. When I called I asked the girl to see if they carried my dress and she put me on hold for over 20 minutes only to come back and say they didn’t so I was very disappointed, but they did have it when I asked about it in the store. Our«consultant»(Patti) brought it out and flung it up on a hanger but did not offer any undergarments or assistance with it, and it was also filthy and smelly and I really did not want to put it on but I did because my family hadn’t see it yet.(Again I was so glad I had purchased elsewhere) She constantly disappeared but it was not to find any items we requested. We asked about several styles of dresses and she just pointed and said«the bridesmaid dresses are over there». We had to hunt through every dress to try to find ones we wanted and once we did find some we liked she informed me that they didn’t have them in any sizes that my girls could try on. My girls range from size 6 and up, so please tell me why you don’t have at least one of each dress in every size??? They tried on a few in random sizes but it was very hard to tell what they would like or would look good on them since nothing fit them correctly. They were getting very frustrated and so was I. It was very cramped in there and there were no chairs, so my mom, aunt, future MIL and I were stuck back in the shoes and kept having to move all of our belongings so people could look at shoes. I understand that it is prom season and they were busy, but I made an appointment specifically so we could be assisted and not have to fight through the crowds to find things. Eventually we just gave up and decided to order the dresses they had first tried on at my house simply because they had no other dresses to choose from. I asked about accessories and the consultant told me to go pick whatever I wanted. I really wanted some help with getting items instead of trying to fight my way across the crowded store in a dirty dress, but ok then. At this point I was venting to my bridesmaid and another employee heard us and offered to help, but it was basically a little too late at this point. A salesman named nick did come over and helped me with a headpiece and veil and he’s the only reason I didn’t lose my mind in this store. Thank you nick! I really hated to give this store any business, but I wanted them to be able to have their dresses delivered close to home so they could have them and get them altered without having to drive 5 hours to Charlotte. If there are ANY other dress shops in this state I would advise you to go there, because these people are very rude and extremely unhelpful. It was the total opposite of my experience in NC, there my consultant picked tons of dresses for me and brought them out along with undergarments and helped me put them all on, she chose several things for me to try on with it, and even though my appointment was only for me and not my party she also brought out many dresses in different colors for my girls to see and she even let them try on a couple. THAT is how it should be and sadly that is not what you will get here. This should be a fun and exciting experience, but it was miserable and I wanted to cry the entire day. Do yourself a favor and avoid this place all together but if you HAVE to come here, ask for Nick.

I live in Arizona and this all started due to no other store in the US having the size I needed by the time i needed it. I was given the store number to Charleston as they had the closest to my size. When I called in I spoke to a young lady informed her of the specific dress # and color that I needed, She happily offered to assist and asked me to hold while she looked for it. A few moments went by and she returned and stated that dress is NOT in store. I asked, but already knew, if there was another store with the size. She asked me to hold again and came back and said«oh sorry it is here I must of looked in the wrong spot» Okay no problem the fact that the dress was found was good enough for me, I asked for it to be shipped to Arizona as I cannot just drive to WV. She asked my name and I spelled it out 3x for her as my name is not very common she then asked my address and i repeated it 2x just to assure it would be correct and also provided my tel #. Afterwards she said okay thank you and hung up. I was very confused as I did not pay for the dress and she did not give me any kind of time frame for the arrival of the dress. I decided to wait a few hours as I had to run some errands before calling back to see if maybe she would contact me since she did have my number. Of course she never did call back so I decided to call back. The same girl answered the phone and said«are you the girl from AZ ordering the bridesmaid dress?» I informed yes and wanted to see how I should be making the payment. Her response was«I honestly have no idea what we talked about earlier and I didn’t write anything down» I was shocked as I mentioned how important it was I got the dress on time as the wedding is a little over a month away and needs alterations. She gathered my information again and took my payment and said it should be there March 5th, I figured that would be okay but was a very long time considering the day I called was January 31st but as long as it was on time that’s all that mattered. After taking my payment she ended the call again. I looked at my statement and saw there was a pending payment so I figured okay great the dress is ordered. I decided to look online and it said it typically takes no more than 7 business days to order a dress that is in stock so I decided to call again which this is 2 weeks later when I do. When they pick up I just mentioned I was looking for a tracking number to track my dress, she said please hold and transferred me, The lady who answered asked for my name, she was unable to find me. She asked for the brides name and was able to locate my info, My name was spelled«Arriola Mandoza» when my name is Rosalva Mendoza which I spelled it out numerous times for her. The lady said I’m sorry but your dress never shipped its actually in my hand now. I was frustrated at the fact that my dress that had been paid for had not been delivered. She said the address was not accepted in the system it was written incorrect. Then said she was going to call but my phone number only had 9 digits due to the first girl not completely writing my number down. She kindly offered to take my information over again and ship the dress to me overnight due to the stores error. After 3 weeks of trying to get my dress I finally received my dress and the lady who shipped it left me a nice note which I want to personally thank Noelia for all her help. As for the other girl I hope I never have to deal with her again and no one else has to go through the same trouble. Honesty her customer service was very poor and should not be dealing with the public and she was getting very frustrated with me. And for this I give the store a 1. If I could go lower I definitely would.
