I stopped in here on a whim. Desperate for shoes in a town that has a small selection of shoe stores, and when you do find shoes, they’re over priced. I was pleasantly surprised by this shop! I thought it’d be masculine, hiking shoes kind of a place. But I found really cute, tasteful boots, espadrilles and flats that I purchased. All well made with good materials and very reasonable prices.
As previous reviewers stated, the store is well stocked, clean and organized. Very friendly and helpful staff. I’m really glad I stopped in! I hope they don’t close anytime soon because I’ll be back.

Absolutely wonderful staff, clean and we’ll-organized storefront, and ridiculous discounts on all sorts of shoes! This place is awesome! If you come here ask for Irma; she’s the most charming and friendly cashier that I’ve met in a long time!

Great deals on men shoes here. I pick up a new pair every year. I love the slip on shoes they have here. Great for just going out the door real quick. They even have snow chains for your shoes here. Great idea for the ice here.

I’m starting to think the shoes in the Bass OUtlet are not the same as the shoes you would buy in a normal retail store. They seem more cheaply made and the prices are silly. Who would believe the original prices of some of these ‘plastic’ shoes?

If you’re always out for a good deal. Bass Shoe Factory in South Lake Tahoe is the way to go! Make sure you’re on their text deals. but even if it doesn’t come on the day you visit, they still have some great deals! A perfect pair of black boots for $ 20?! That is a bargain!

Every time my husband and I come to Tahoe we come to the Bass Shoe Outlet!!! They have insane sales and the shoes are great! I stocked up on boots last year and found a couple of pairs that were so comfy that I wore them all winter — it was a 60% off sale!
my husband in the summer of 2011 got 12 pair of shoes!!! They had an insane sale — buy one pair get two free — he went crazy and found all these great shoes! He has size 11.5 and often the shoes are not stylish or they are not very comfortable for him — but these all looked great and they fit. He got Hiking Boots, Sandals, casual and business shoes — so awesome…
I have gotten cute knit hats, we have gotten some luggage, socks etc! We love this place!

When there’s a good sale on at Bass Shoe, you can really find some terrific bargains. Last year for example, they had a buy one, get TWO free shoes promo right after Christmas. WHAAAA? That was serious boss.
My pet peeve with outlets are their crazy pricing: 60% off + 20% off less your right pinkie. Just tell me what the final price is, please, don’t make me squint at that tiny chart with the numbers the size of microbes.

For men’s shoes this place is having a HUGE sale! I was able to get my husband two pairs of really nice walking shoes for $ 54 out the door! Hurry in now before the shoes are all gone. I have a suspicion that these outlet stores are all closing down soon. I wonder if they are moving to the new development further north?
