I have been bringing my beading projects to this store every year for the past several. years, They have always been very helpful and creative helping me recreate earrings from older pairs that I have lying around, not wearing. This last week they spent over an hour helping me design a couple of pairs of earrings and I couldn’t be more pleased. Thank you!

Rude customer service slow to help customers. don’t even think they are helpful. They allowed us to shop. Helped us then turned around to help someone else. Lady said am here alone my help did not come in. NOT MY PROBLEM

As far as the merchandise, this has to be one of my favorite stores in Tahoe. Beautiful selection of beads, jewelry, décor and even a bit of clothing! On the other hand, terrible customer service. I wasn’t greeted at all, nobody’s asked if I needed help. All of these teenage girls that appear to be working there were glued to their phones my whole visit, and my presence seemed to annoy and interfere with their phone time. Not cool.

Feeling creative? Need some beads for a project well this may be the best place in town for just that. They have over hundreds of styles, also they offer them at great prices I think. But id definitely tell others to go here.

Big shout-​out to the young girl at the store who helped me over the weekend. I had come in last summer and bought a pendant and a chain from them, which I wear constantly. However, when they made the pendant for me out of the piece I picked, they made it so it was impossible for me to switch out pendants using the same chain. So hope against hope, I came back and asked them if they would re-​do the head pin so that I could take the pendant off and use different pendants with the same chain. It took her a few minutes to re-​do it and only charged me $ 3 for her time and materials. So happy now! Thank you for the great service.

Phenomenal store. Two younger girls working and they were on top of their game. Store was packed. They handled it with professionalism. They helped customers find items, made custom jewelry, and ran the register with great ease. Prices are the best we saw in lake Tahoe. Great prices on breads, necklaces and stones. Great shop.

So, I went there last week. Anyways, I went into the Beads store to buy a sterling silver chain necklace or string. The two girls that were in there weren’t helpful at all. One of them was on the floor doing something when she could have gotten up to help, but she didn’t. The other girl wore black glasses and blonde ish, she just told me, «they’re over there» pointing towards the back of the room. Like, okay? where? It was my first time in the store, how am I supposed to know where everything is. HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE. I left because they were rude and didn’t help me at all.
I went there again, and OMG there was a girl named Lumi who was SO HELPFUL. She showed me so many different varieties of chains and string. She was so nice and genuine. I’m so glad I was able to be helped by her the second time.

This store is so jam-​packed with gems and sparkling delights that you need to set aside a few hours. The staff is always very helpful and will get you set up with supplies and a table to make your own creations. They have literally thousands of strands of beads hanging on the wall. The owner is often there and she is super knowledgeable. The prices are fair, and you get a discount for buying in quantity. Highly recommended for everyone!

I love beads and this shop has soo much for you if you love making jewelry. They also offer classes and you can also purchase finished jewelry as well. I love the customer service and they’ve always helped me with jewelry problem solving. I’ve been surprised with some great deals and they’ve thrown in some wire for my jewelry once as well. Huge selection of beads and stone. Easy parking access.

I LOVE this place. I used to work down the road from the village and my friends and I would always have to stop in here.
Last time we were there, the girl who was working was making a beautiful bracelet that we wanted to recreate. She helped us find the correct tools and taught us how to do it. They have a craft table in the back where you can create your project without having to buy every tool.
I would recommend this business to anyone.

Hands down, the best part of my trip to Lake Tahoe! One of the best selections of beads I’ve ever come across — and this includes the many bead shows I’ve attended. Good prices too. And they are extremely friendly and helpful. I wish I lived closer!

Great little store in the heart of Lake Tahoe. First time I have ever seen a bead store sell nearly every type of bead (cheap or pricey) by the each! Visiting the city from Las Vegas and the service and selection were better than any of the really big stores we have in the city. Read the other comments about their pricing. When selling the beads by the each, it might be pricey on quaintly. I make projects for myself, so I felt like it was a good deal. Can’t wait to go back.

Not the cheapest bead store around, but it is in the middle of tourist central. It’s got some nice focal pieces — I like to stop in there every time I’m in town to see what different focal type pieces they have. This trip I was finally able to find some more of a certain pendant I was looking for, even if it wasn’t *exactly* right.
I’ll definitely go back.

Perlen, Perlen, Perlen.
Ich würde mich nicht als besonders großer Fan der so angesagten, selbstgemachten Perlenketten bezeichnen. Doch hier, bei Beads etc., habe ich es (sehr zur Freude meines Ehemannes) über eine Stunde ausgehalten.
Tolle Auswahl, freundlichster und hilfsbereiter Service. Wer nicht schon auf Perlchen steht, wird es nach einem Besuch von Beads Etc. tun. Voraussgesetzt, er ist eine Frau ;-)
