Peter is the best! This nail Spa has everything you could want at great prices and even better service! This is a MUST if you want any nail services!

As a local who frequents this establishment… I love the fact that they bring out a fresh bowl of water for each pedicure instead of having the water automatically fill in the foot basin. Nice and clean… quick and good. Be careful when choosing your pedicure… Basic is $ 25…but can go up from there… make sure you look at the menu!

What a great place! Beautiful inside. Excellent and friendly service. When we come back to Tahoe we will definitely stop here again!

This is my favorite nail salon in Tahoe! Andy did the most amazing pedicure, he took the time to make sure they were perfect. Also a little after I had left I smudged them and was so upset, but I went back to the nail salon and he fixed them for free. Thank you Andy!

My husband and I were so excited to get pedicures together after going on a hike and I’m so disappointed. The man who did my pedicure was pushing me get a more expensive service than what I wanted. When I declined, he copped a major attitude and the shift in atmosphere was quite noticeable. I hate be negative, but we both walked away feeling like cattle. We both felt as though the nail technicians were talking about us and making fun of us. Such a yucky feeling! The massage was actually nice, but I still have dirt around the edges of my toenails… that has NEVER happened before. When I pointed it out to him, he brushed my hand away (seriously!) and said the dirt was «too deep». What?! My feet still look dry and the nail polish itself was slopped on in overly thick coats. Such a bummer and a bad experience. I will not return.

I always get a Gel Mani from Steven, Ladies he is FANTASTIC! my nails never break, crack or chip. I can go 3 weeks with not one chip. He is simply amazing. If you are in need of a Gel Manicure Steven is the guy to see. The entire salon is super clean and everyone who works here is soooo friendly! It’s just a fantastic experience all around.

Atmosphere is pretty good. The quality of the craftsmanship leaves something to be desired. Both mine and my friends nails were poorly done. Missing around the edges bubbles and rough edges. Both were completely unsatisfied with the service and both of us spent over $ 100 for mani pedi usually pay $ 80s at our regular salons. #Overpriced #toomuchrush

Awesome spot! They were able to get me in on the same day I called (the day before I needed my nails done for a wedding). I got gel nails in about 45 mins total. The picture is of my nails 2 weeks later. :)

This place is incredible! Friendly staff, amazing manis/​peids, clean equipment! Definitely a go-​to! They even use disposable bins for your pedicures so you know it is sanitary. The massages they give for manicures are so relaxing. They do an excellent job on the nail polish. And their pedicure chairs are exquisite!

This place was great! My two sisters and I got the delux pedicures and we were all overjoyed with our service! Definitely worth the $ 50. The massage was so good I almost fell asleep. And my sister, who walks everywhere barefooted, was given the ultimate pedicure! Her feet are BEASTS! But They spent extra time dealing with her calluses and buffing down her feet so they wouldn’t snag on socks or carpeting. This is THE PLACE to go after the slopes. Hands down!

I’ve been doing my nails here for over 4 years and this is my first post. First of all, if you go here and want nails ask for Tony. Tony is a true artist and your nails will look amazing. Your nails will never lift or break. Shape will also look perfect. I’ve done different types of tips, shapes, colors and so much more. Worth every penny spent!

I came to Rio for the first time wanting to try something different with my nails. My coworker had recommended Peter and since I always love the way her nails look I decided to give it a try. I am so happy I decided to come. For a busy mom of 2 trying to always squeeze time to get my nails done this is what I needed!!! He was sooo quick, efficient and nice that I have to say I will be back. I love the way my nails look

This place is so good! My nails always look fabulous and I always have people asking where I get them done. I feel like such an asshole when I’m like «I’m sorry I get them done in Tahoe.»
I go to Tahoe often so the timing usually works out to come here. All the people who work here are great. Clean. Quick but not sloppy. I never get cut or have any pain while getting my nails done when I come here, lol. It sounds stupid to mention that but I know girls out there feel me. Highly recommend you come here if you’re wanting pedi, mani or a set. Great quality work.

I came in to get a mani pedi before my baby arrives, this place is great! The staff is super friendly and accommodating, I was able to walk right in and be helped– Danny is great!

Came in from out of town and cracked a nail, walked in to the salon and Peter helped me out right away.
He even explained to me that because it was under the grow out that I would have to wait to glue it back together but gave me two coats of gel to make it stronger until it can grow from the skin.
He didn’t charge me a dime and wouldn’t even accept a tip! VERY sweet and I am so appreciative that he fixed me up right away as I was heading back to the airport. Thank you Peter!

Myself and two other girlfriends came in here to get pampered during our vacation.
Bad service:
My girlfriends spa chair massage feature wasn’t working. When she told the technician he said «sorry». It would have been nice to be offered a different chair, which there were others vacant.
Overpriced:
A gel manicure is 48 dollars. I live in the Bay Area California and I have never paid that much for a gel manicure. Expectations automatically set very high now. They have a «manicure and pedicure special» if you get both. My girlfriend asked how much it would cost to add gel polish. The man replied «30 dollars ». Blown away she said «30 dollars extra for polish? ». He continued to explain that he needs to cover his overhead costs for «shipping».
Conclusion :
It’s been about a week and a half and my gel manicure is lifting and chipping. If your going to charge top dollar you need to back it up with working equipment and impeccable services. I WILL NOT BE BACK .

Bahhhh. Came here for a wedding party and we knew it was a touristy location so we didn’t expect much. The bride and one of the bridesmaid’s toenail color chipped off within a day. I’ve never seen that happen before. The group was also super shady. Their credit card machine mysteriously «stopped working» when we got here and then started working again. Luckily there’s a wells fargo close by in the Tom Thumb so we were able to withdraw cash. Don’t be shady, guys.
The gel mani I had was done well which was a savior. I think it depends on the nail tech you get, their skills vary.

Walked in and asked if I can do a walk in and they had plenty of availability. Had fairly good Unilocal reviews so decided to come with my friends. As a male, it’s my first time and I went for the Classic Pedicure for $ 35 ( Unilocal or Local discount of 10%). I was slightly dissatisfied as my massage chair was not working properly (the strength and skill button was broken so it was very weak massage chair). Uyen was incredibly gentle with my feet and felt no pain so that was a plus. Highly recommend her and she is very precise with her work.
Would definitely come back here if I came back to Tahoe. With great price you get great quality!

I get a lot of pedicures, but this was absolutely the BEST pedicure I’ve ever had!
