I love this little gem, full of a range or gifts as well as good stuff for your soul’s well-​being. I bought a big stone statue Buddha here that I’ve cherished since. They have locally made jewelry as clothing. Stop in and check it out!

Love this gem of a shop! I discovered it through a conversation with a server at Blue Angel (my favorite restaurant in Tahoe)…he suggested I check it out because of the patterned leggings I was wearing and he was so right. The shop has a lot of unique and quirky things to enjoy.
Last time I went, I bought another pair of fun leggings and a very attractive and well-​made insulated lunch box. I used it every day last semester and there are no signs of wear at all. Today I went in and found the perfect feminine trucker hat and a gorgeous locally-​made labradorite necklace. And, while the store is definitely geared toward hippy chicks, the sorta square guy I was with found a music inspired wall-​art bottle opener that he really liked.
The owner is also very sweet and not at all pushy, which I appreciate in a salesperson.
Worth checking out!

This is my favorite store in Tahoe.
This store has a fantastic selection of locally or ‘consciously’-made clothing, jewelry, candles, books… The owners are wonderful– so friendly and helpful. They clearly select high quality and unique pieces for their shop and care about giving their customers the best of products. I have bought so many beautiful artisan skirts and dresses here. Whenever I shop at this store, I feel good about supporting such a great local business.

A little late on this review. My girlfriend and I were visiting Tahoe a couple days ago and were told about Gaia from a person at Earthbound. Large selection of women’s clothing, nice selection of essential oils, very small selection of crystals, small selection of men’s clothing/​wear. I did however, come across an incredible hoodie made by a local couple with fabrics from all over the world. If you are in the South Lake Tahoe area I would definitely recommend checking it out :)

I cannot say enough how much I LOVE this store! Great vibes, unique clothes and gift ideas, amazing jewelry from local artists all the way to Nepal. The owner and all of the staff are warm and friendly and all about the community. There is something for everyone here. You gotta check it out!

A random hailstorm took us off the beach and into this shop, and barefoot at that. The owner was more than gracious about our bare feet, in fact he offered us a ten percent discount for shopping with barefeet, he said (in a rather cool german accent) «It makes you closer to the earth.» They have quite a variety of boutique items, which aren’t terribly cheap, but still well-​priced for being in a pretty touristy area like Tahoe. I bought a hat there which I wore out the same night, and at least ten people commented on how cool my hat was! Please visit this shop if you are a local, since tourists like me can only visit so often, and it would be sad to see a unique shop like this go out of business.

This my absolute favorite place to shop! The owners are super friendly and are willing to go out of their way to help you find what you need. The store has unique items and gifts that can’t be found anywhere else. I love going into this store. I particularly go there for their journals and sacred sage products. Thank you!

This shop has great energy and an excellent selection of clothes, gifts and high-​vibrational items. My wife found the coolest pairs of pants. I thought the prices were all very reasonable considering the high quality. I like that they carry several items made by local artisans. The owner Kelly is a real sweetheart.

I came in per the suggestion of a friend, in search of some comfy yoga pants. Ohhmmm did I find them — and so much more!
Gaia-​Licious carries a great brand of yoga pants — I have no idea what it is, but they have a thin black tag on the back with a cursive capital «A» on it — that are SO comfortable! They don’t crawl up your butt (like so many yoga pants I’ve encountered) while simultaneously making your rear look amazing. Great for yoga, dance, walking the dog, sleeping, eating… I lived in them when I was pregnant, since they were the only thing my whale belly and I felt remotely attractive in. I have five — count them, five — pairs. Obsessed? Yes. But rightfully so!
Okay, I know, I blather. Besides the nirvana-​inducing yoga pants, I’ve found a couple of really gorgeous, unique dresses here. I like that they only order a few in each size. I definitely didn’t have to worry about anyone else wearing the same dress as I was when we went to a wedding last fall :)
They also have really unique jewelry, ranging from totally hippie to classy bohemian. I found a great necklace with a tiny fortune cookie and tiny fortune — it was probably meant for a little girl but whatever. It came home with the Tara monster.
We moved away from south shore a while back and I really, really miss shopping here. It’s so nice to find so much selection for reasonable prices in a local owned, local run store.

Wow! There’s a lot of stuff in here. Have passed this place many a time without going in, since the Yellow Submarine is right next door, and was blown away when I went in!
They have jewelry, candles, cards, clothing, books, music, and many other things. Definitely worth checking out ;)

Very cute little store. Not something you would necessarily expect in South Lake Tahoe, a nice departure from the endless souvenir shops around town. They have very unique gifts and treasures, you could easily spend an hour just browsing this little place.
I highly recommend it!

I love this little shop! And am so happy to have a cool place like this in South Lake Tahoe… one just never knows what they will find there so you must stop by often! I’ve purchased CD’s, belly dance skirts, awesome clothing, jewelry, books, home décor — they’ve got it all!

Gaia-​Licious is a great little spot in Tahoe. I always love stopping in to see what new items they have stocked. As a Yoga studio owner, I am always searching for inexpensive «yoga wear» and neat decorative items for my studio. Gaia-​Licious never fails when I am looking for a unique decoration, a gift for a friend or something special for myself. I recommend this store for anyone looking for something different in Tahoe!

I love walking in and being completely overwhelmed with the colors and sounds of handpicked items that fill this store.
This is a totally unique shop with lots of local artist work.
Beautiful clothing, candles, a great book section, jewelry, items to adorn your house with and so much more.
Not to mention you’ll be supporting a great Tahoe family.
