Prima Auswahl und leckere Speisen. Die Bedienung ist aufmerksam und die Einrichtung rustikal gemütlich.

I went here February 19 for the first time. I ordered poached eggs home fries and English muffin. When the waitress served me the eggs were in a small bowl with water. I asked here for a bowl to drain the water. I asked here why did the cook serve them like that? She did not know. When I ate them they were also cold. That is not how to prepare poached eggs. Epic fail!

Presidents’ Day weekend & Valentines in Tahoe & I found my new spot. I don’t know why Ive never been here before but we rolled in & were seated right away. We had the pleasure of having Aline as our waitress & we couldn’t have been more happy. Every person that worked there genuinely seemed like they loved it, which in turn creates a great experience for us dining. Now on to the food!!! I had crepes with bananas & a side of bacon. Everything is made fresh & by scratch. The décor of the restaurant is like a Swedish house with a cute European feel. There’s is no doubt we’ll be back many many more times. I wish I could give this place 10 stars!!! Update: came back the next day & got Jane!!! Again excellent service & great food. Thank you!

The décor was cute and the inspiration was very Swiss Alps and mountain ski-lodge appropriate. We are sure that in years gone past Heidi’s was adorable and a great place to eat. Unfortunately, the adorable atmosphere didn’t even last until we sat down at our table. This place was dirty, really dirty. While the tables looked like they had at least been cleaned, every single corner had what appeared to be a decade’s worth of built up grime. I cannot even bring myself to mention details on the bathroom; let’s just say that we drove 15 minutes back to the hotel to use ours. We have a 4-year-old and a 2 year-old and delaying bathroom time is not a decision we make lightly. The food was bad and even though it wasn’t awful it was definitely not something we recommend if you are looking to enjoy your meal. The scrambles eggs were runny, the potatoes tasted like mush, the bacon soggy, and they brought an un-peeled tangerine as a fruit side. Which was just strange. The service was awful and slow even though there was only one other customer in the entire place. The server absolutely reeked of cigarette smoke and she set a butter-covered place right on top of my phone! Oh, and she forgot the toast, and the milk, and the even syrup! Would we recommend eating here? We are forced to response with a resounding and firmly stated«No.» There are so many other great places for breakfast in South Tahoe, like the Driftwood Café or the Red Hut Café that will add to the wonder of your trip. We urge you to visit those places instead. Happy skiing!

Solid breakfast joint, but on the weekend you may have to wait 15 – 20 minutes for a table. I ordered a waffle with over easy egg and sausage. Thr waffle was crispy, buttery and delicious. Very filling! Service is fast and friendly. After ordering our breakfasts came to the table within 5 minutes.
