High Sierra Laundry

It’s my second year vacationing in Tahoe during the summer and I’ve done my laundry here. This place was always clean when I stopped by on my camping trip. On a few occasions I used the Wash and Fold Service but I was not going to be able to pick it up due to transportation issues. Margarite was nice enough to call the owner to find out if delivery to my camping site was possible. To my surprise they made a free delivery with no issues and clean clothes. I will not hesitate to continue using this Laundromat (:

This was a nice place to do laundry. The attendant was helpful and it was well maintained. They also have wi-​fi! I would definitely recommend.

Nice, clean and well kept. The attendant Margarita is very friendly. The washers and dryers are well maintained. Also, there is a t.v. which is nice.

Needed to do a load of laundry and picked this place by Unilocal.Not a real obvious sign from the road but found it fine by GPS. Small place and it wasn’t full or super busy, but I was there during the middle of the week. They have single, double or triple loads and regular dryers (those HUGE ones) and they also have an Express dryer place, but some stinky guy (obviously needed a clothes washing!) had them all tied up and he wasn’t even in the laundromat!
I don’t do wash at the laundromat at home, but it was basic prices and I do enjoy doing all my laundry in one time frame, instead of over the day like at home.
I did have a problem with the dryers, $.25 for 6 minutes and after 24 minutes on HIGH heat, I gave up drying the load of several pairs of socks and undies (not much to dry!).
I do appreciate the Lost & Found box and I realized when I got back to the WEST SHORE that I was missing a shirt. We went back 2 days later and it was still in the box! I was surprised as I did see an obvious drifter come in and scrounge through the box while I was there.
Good deal, clean and worth the time for clean laundry.

About the only times I need a laundromat are when we’re in Tahoe or when I have item to wash. Well, I’ve tried many laundromats in this area, and this is by far the best. It’s a bit more expensive than some others, but that equals less people, cleaner facility, and better equipment.
