My family of five had a great time fishing this Summer with Joby. His boat is roomy and top notch. Joby really knows fishing, especially on Lake Tahoe. We all caught some. Joby gave us some great cooking tips that we used later that night. I normally don’t enjoy eating fish but they turned out great. I was worried about it being awkward being on a boat with a stranger, but he is very personable and easy to chat with. We will definitely book again next time we visit Tahoe. *plan on booking well ahead of your trip, his schedule is quite full*

He took my grandpa and I out for my first time fishing. He taught me how to fish and knew right where to take us! We had a blast, it was a calm and peaceful morning on the lake, and gorgeous as well! We caught 6 fish by 8 am and were home prepping them for dinner by 9am. He gave us a simple recipe for the fish that turned out incredible! We’re so happy with tripping and recommending it to everyone we know! Thanks for a great trip!

My son, husband and father went fishing with Mile High this summer. They had a fantastic time AND came home with 3 large fish. The owner was great and very knowledgeable about the lake. My nine-year-old is talking about his fishing trip, months later!

I’m not a fisherman by any stretch of the imagination. I’m way too urbanized to enjoy the pace of fishing. Since I have friends who like to fish and I’m always looking to try something new I’m glad I found«Mile High Fishing Charters» in South Lake Tahoe. It was quite by accident actually. I was in SLT for the weekend and I stopped in at a bunch of new places I’ve never been to and have been meaning to check out like: * Red Hut Café(see: ) * Tacqueria Jalisco(see: ) * Tahoe Bowl(see:) * Al Tahoe Laundry(see:). It was at the laundromat that I discovered a great pin Medieval Madness(see: )and Tahoe Native, Joby Cefalu(see: ). Since I’m interested in the mechanics of the laundry business, I asked for his contact info and discovered his fishing charter service, which is advertised in the laundromat. Anyway I’ll sign up when the weather is a bit warmer and charter his boat with a bunch of friends the next time I’m in Tahoe. Check it out!!!
