This trail in the springtime is worth every boulder you have to climb over and every steep step you will take. The falls are spectacular as the snow melt fills them. Basically, it is one fall after another, with views of sheer granite snow covered mountains as your vista. I left early in the morning and there was only one other person on the trail besides me. By the time I was coming down in the early afternoon, all of the hipsters and their dogs were coming up, so go early for some privacy and quality nature communion. Leave the ski bums to the slopes and find your inner spirit again in a solo trek up to 1330 vertical feet. I may be middle aged but I made it. So can you.
