Definitely worth checking out. Friendly staff, and Steve is very helpful. My mother purchased a jacket here last year, and my girlfriend purchased one today.

I forgot a sweater so I decided to go to North Face to purchase something. I was confused if this was an outlet store because there were so many styles and most of the clothing were large and extra larges. BEWAREIFYOU’RE A SIZESMALL! It took me a while to find something that I want just because when we came here it was cold(about 60 degrees). Some racks have over 5 styles with only 3 sizes each. There were only about 2 employees from what I recall. One checking people out and one somewhere running around with clothes and putting them back in piles.

I love this store! So much so that I avoid coming here at all costs so that I don’t buy everything they have. They have a great assortment of down women’s jackets that just make you want to buy one in each color. The staff was helpful and answered any questions I had and even offered to try to find me what I was looking for in their backstock. I will be back.

Decent selection of NF gear. Staff was friendly. Everything was expensive, but you get why you pay for. Clearance section in the back for the bargain hunters.

I always go into browse, never works, we bought shoes and a backpack. Their was only one person working with a busy morning and she moved though the store at fast and friendly pace. I always go to the outlet and try not to buy retail, to much nice stuff plus with north face you get what you pay for.

Not great, not terrible. We spent a good half hour in the store and the two staff members neither greeted us or came out from behind the register to see if we needed help with anything(they seemed pretty absorbed in paperwork? A schedule?). Small square footage of the store is utilized well, prices are what you would expect from North Face. Fun Fact: If you come here in the off-season(no snow + too cold for lake play) they have some killer clearance racks outside. Winner!

A huge amount of product… like, it is difficult to walk around amount of product. The prices, well, you are buying North Face… while it is cold outside… steps away from luxury rooms… and steps away from the Gondola. Yeah, you’ll pay the premium price for most of their product here… but there are some normal priced items. I pretty much stop in every time I’m up just to see the stuff and make mental notes for when I shop at Sport’s Basement. There are options here for the whole family… it’s just that, there is hardly enough room for your whole family. Also, wear some damn rubber soled shoes while shopping here… I shocked myself at least 30 times touching anything.

This is a really small store where you can rent or purchase snow gear. I think the store really is for people who may have forgotten to pack something at home and now need a pair of gloves, sun glasses or goggles. Selection is really limited however customer service is good.

The boyfriend bought me my favorite North Face Heavenly sweater for my birthday when we were up in Tahoe for New Years weekend. I have been wanting a North Face jacket for the past few months and I needed to replace my old heavenly sweater because I grew out of it so this combination of North Face/Heavenly on one sweater was perfect — killed two birds with one stone!

They have some awesome clothes but I was there for ski rentals. They did a great job with fitting and all of the gear was top notch.

How can I dislike this place?! It’s full of down-filled outerwear, furry fleece zip-ups, gear and so much more! All the things I love during the winter. Even down booties! It’s a retail store, so be prepared to pay as such. However, dig a little and you may find a deal too good to pass up!

Awesome store! I bought a jacket here recently. Great quality stuff! Friendly staff ;) They offer rentals as well, so if your hitting the slopes, it’s a good spot.

If you LOVE North Face, DONOT come here. Otherwise you’ll be tempted to buy everything on the racks like I was. Place is pretty big and, obviously, has anything you’d need for hitting the slopes. Being North Face, it’s pricey so try not to stay in there too long. You’ll need to save some money for the gambling.

Rented a ski package here early April 2009, and had a very pleasant experience(especially compared to other rentals places in the area). Friendly, helpful, and quick. Reserved online and got a price break.

The GF and i rented skis here when we came up to Tahoe last weekend to do some skiing. The people that worked there were super nice and made sure we got everything we needed. No pushy salespeople here, they got it just right. Not only that, but they happily offered to store our shoes all day for free while we were skiing and held our skis overnight free of charge. Combine their location right near the base of the gondola with the friendly staff, reasonable rates, and easy rental reservations through and you’ve got a winner. Looks like we’ve found the right place to rent equipment until we decide to buy.

i love TNF. thank you for providing me a hat to save my head from frosting due to the 0 °F degrees on the hill. thank you for stocking so many cool merchandise! I can always find something to buy at TNF but im not sure if thats a good thing. The location is pretty nice too, its off a main road and near the gondola.

I was really impressed with this North Face. The clothing is totally overpriced, as with any North Face but that’s not what I was there for. The North Face here is one of the places where you can pick up ski rentals from . If you reserve your stuff online, it’s a bit cheaper. Not much, but a couple of dollars. The day we went there, one of the workers just hadn’t shown up for work. As a result, they were incredibly understaffed and there was a 45min wait to get your skis. Now, you must be wondering why I’m still giving them 4 stars. I’m giving them 4 stars because they dealt with it really well. They tried to be efficient and tried to suppress their urge to kill the person who didn’t show. The skis that I got were very good. They let us valet them overnight so that we could just walk in the next morning and pick them up. They are handed back to you with a fresh waxing. They also let you leave your shoes there all day while you hit the slopes, which is pretty great. And when I came back and asked to get smaller skis, it wasn’t a problem. The people there really tried hard and so I was very happy with them.
