Pizza Port I

I ordered food at 8:10pm, waited until 9:50 pm and called to find out that they will not be delivering the food i ordered because the order was unclear. When i asked him y didnt he call back to confirm, he answered that they dont have caller id. The guy who took the order was so rude, so i asked to speak to the owner, he was no different. Instead of apologizing for not getting our order filled, he cursed me out and hung up on me.

Love This Place! Love the Staff. Love the Food. Love the Chefs! They’re efficient, fast, funny, welcoming and accommodate all customers wants and needs. Not to mention the food is yummy! I recommend the popular buffalo slice! Their philly cheesesteaks are pretty darn good. Buffalo roll. Grilled chicken panini. Penne alla vodka with grilled chicken. Garlic knots with melted mozzarella. And there’s something called a monstrosity slice. Please try. *mouth waters* And the list goes on! Been a long time customer since I was a kid. Now I’m well into my 20s and they’re getting better and better.

We stayed at the Best Western JFK and are looking for pizza delivery. We ordered a pepperoni pizza. It was typical NYC style, greasy, foldable, thin crust. I thought it was pretty good for delivery. They also deliver beer and wine which is nice. Cool delivery guy, but the person that took my order seemed a bit annoyed that I was calling (possibly because there was a World Series Mets game on).

Staying at the Best Western JFK — Airport hotel I ordered a small dinner for delivery and after two hours of not receiving it I called to get an ETA. They assured me it would be delivered in 10 minutes. After another hour I called and they claimed I wasn’t in my room (which I had been the entire time waiting) and would have to put in a new order.

Very friendly staff. I have eaten here several times and have always been treated nice and with a smile.
I have had the chicken parmigiana, meatball sub, pepperoni pizza, bbq chicken pizza and other pasta dishes. They were all very reasonably priced and tasted great! One of the most reasonable restaurants around with air-​conditioning and seating.
Be aware that pizza by the slice changes hourly or daily. They might not always have what you wanted to come for, but it will taste good even if you try something new.

Previously I tried the regular cheese & their buffalo chicken slice pizza… however, I have had better in Queens. It wasn’t bad, but not the best. Recently, I decided to switch it up a bit since I was in the area & tried their linguine pasta with Alfredo & shrimps. It was quite delicious and wouldn’t mind getting it again. I think I’ll give them a chance on their other dishes.

Walked in here today at 5:15pm, no one else in line, and about 10 employees behind the counter doing various jobs. I stood at the cash register waiting to place my order for a full 5 minutes, making eye contact with at least half of the guys working. No one acknowledged my presence or came to take my order. I turned around and walked out. Never again. Poor customer service!!!

I had such high hopes for this place… got to my hotel starving, on a layover and this was one of the places that delivered. I ordered a house salad, and lasagna. The salad was nasty… the tomatoes were either WAY overripe or had been frozen (mushy, mealy and flavorless). The lasagna was dry (needed sauce), and there was no cheese except a little melted on top. The only good tasting item was the warm bread, but then they didn’t include any butter. Needless to say, I won’t be ordering from Pizza Port again. I am giving 1 star because they DID deliver, and the bread tasted good…(probably just due to being so hungry) otherwise a huge disappointment!

Wonderful pizza to have if you’re in the neighborhood! there is a large variety and it’s a friendly setting to be in!

I missed my flight at JFK and had six hours to kill. After a few hours in the terminal I was STIR CRAZY. With Unilocal!as my guide, I decided to embark on a food adventure. Took the Howard Beach Airtrain to Lefferts Boulevard (free ride) and walked a half-​mile north to Pizza Port. Their regular slice is legit.

Tried their pizza on various occasions. I find that their pizza is bland. The sauce is tasteless and they’re cheap with the cheese. The slices taste like its reheated from the morning. I had it with this place. The Only good thing is that it’s close to my place. I only order when it’s a last resort or if I don’t feel like driving out to far.

We always order here when we stay near the airport. Excellent pizza and phenomenal wings!

Been going here for years. While the pizza is good, the Italian dishes are really great! Everyone is super nice there too.

Stayed @ JFK HGI. Love NY pizza so after reading through Unilocal plus a suggestion from employees & pilots @ Sheltair Aviation I decided on Pizza Port. They had ordered Italian Hero’s and Hot Wing which smelled Amazing! Their hero’s looked delicious. I ordered a cheese pizza and linguini with clams fra diavolo. Oh my goodness the pasta is delicious. Delivery took just under an hour. The pizza was not hot… just luke warm at best. I’m sure the pizza would be better fresh and hot. I would definitely order pasta again! Or hero’s!

We ordered a BBQ chicken pizza and buffalo wings to our hotel after a long day in NYC. It looked amazing when we opened the box, but was really disappointing in the end. The pizza tested like it had been sat on a counter for hours, kind of stale, just not great. The wings were pretty good though.
Pros: online ordering, free delivery, PayPal payment
Cons: took over an hour to be delivered, didn’t taste great

I was so excited for NY pizza. What a disappointment. And the Calamari Was so bad I couldn’t eat more than two. Wish I had gone somewhere else. And the rest of these reviews say it’s great. Maybe I was expecting NY to show up. Kinda sad when LA has better pizza.

Their buffalo chicken pizza was amazing, when I first tried it two years ago. It was absolutely amazing, the best pizza I’ve ever had. However, now it seems like the pizza have been made in the morning and then just heat up when we order it. It taste kind of nasty if you’re trying to get it in the night. I’ve been telling my family not to purchase pizza from here, because it tastes old and dry. It’s not as delicious and appetizing as it used to be.
A few years ago, I would die for this. But, now I’d rather just get the plain slice from the pizzeria in front my house.

I have gone to pizza port 1000 times but this is the first time i have reviewed it!
Everything is amazing. I usually get the buffalo chicken slice and the chicken bacon ranch roll! its always fresh and hot. Today i got the spinach slice with added chicken was just awesome. Other slices that i have tried are the Caesar salad slice, chicken bacon ranch slice, penne ala vodka slice, BBQ chicken slice and garlic knots of course. everything i have mentioned is worth trying. Great service! If you have a chance to sit inside PLEASE do. Don’t listen to the reviews about delievery. All of those random people aren’t even from NY. Listen to a true New Yorker. Walk or take a cab to Pizza Port and enjoy!

I have to give Pizza Port five stars, I freaking eat here every day. I work by the airport and we literally order from here
. Like the guys already know we’re gonna call them. Like we get scared and confused when a new guy asks for our address instead of instantly knowing who we are and what we’re ordering. That kind of eat there every day.
And we eat there every day because the food is on point, all the time. We tried to branch out, and every other restaurant in the area disappointed us until the «Lunch Menu» folder became just Pizza Port. The food is consistently delicious, the guys are consistently delightful, they don’t mess up our orders, and even though lunch time is busy for every food establishment, they consistently deliver within the hour. You honestly cannot go wrong with these guys. And I don’t know where they get their rolls from but they’re freaking spectacular.
I had to do my duty and let yall know that Pizza Port is great. After all, they’re making my lunch on Monday.
