Luigi’s Pizza-New York Style

I haven’t ordered here in a few months now, because the last few times I did, the food quality went way downhill.

Great pizza, sauce had some extra zip to it and the staff was friendly. Prices reasonable. Small place, but nice.

I ordered a vegetable pizza and it was delicious! Not at all greasy. The crust was perfect, not too thick, not too thin. The toppings were generously distributed over the pie. The veggies were cooked through, but not overcooked or soggy. I will definitely order from them again! They have an large assortment of specialty pizzas as well as basic pizzas. The place smells great too!

Whenever you order from here MAKE SURE TO CHECK WHAT THEY ARE GIVING YOU. They generally mess up something and they’ve been pretty good at just not giving me garlic knots when I’ve ordered two or three orders. I just ordered through EAT24 and it took more than an hour, on top of not getting the garlic knots i ordered. And they do this every single time. The girl delivering it was so quick to get out of there I didn’t even have time to check if I got everything. Their food is so good but their service is dreadful.

Not ordering from here again. Placed my order through grub hub– ordered a prosciutto and fresh mozzarella sandwich with oil and balsamic vinegar — I had about ¼ lb of not-​so-​fresh mozzarella (was a little dry) and it had about three slices of prosciutto in it. They gave me the balsamic vinegar on the side and no oil AT ALL/​not to mention it was in a wrap!!! Who orders a prosciutto sandwich on a wrap!!! All cheese and no bread left me hungry! Then the lady that came to make the delivery was overwhelmed with panic that she was doing circles around the outside of her car trying to find me. I had to yell at her to get her to calm down and look for me. They didn’t follow my delivery or order instructions. Never ever ordering from here again. And the prosciutto is so salty my tounge is starting to burn. Horrible.

Makes a good slice. The specialty pies are what sets this place apart. Grandma pie is really flavorful and not overly oily as they can be at other places. But the best pizza in town is the Chicken fra diavolo pie. Oh my god is it good. More chicken are on that pie than on most dinner plates. Spicey and delicious.

My coworkers and I ended up eating at this pizza place after finding that our favorite Vietnamese restaurant was closed for the week.
What a mistake that decision turned out to be.
The pizza clearly lacked sauce, and the crust tasted quite stale. Absolutely none of us remotely enjoyed the food.
The place was also extremely dimly lit. Maybe they don’t get enough customers, so they have to make up for it by dimming the lights.
Even more likely is that Luigi’s is a mob front, because with food of this caliber and the clear lack of customers during lunchtime, I don’t see how this establishment would survive otherwise.
If you’re reading this review because you’ve arrived at the restaurant and were curious about the quality of the food, my advice to you would be to head straight to the Vietnamese restaurant next door. Get a soup #1 or an L12, and you will not be disappointed.

We have ordered from them quite a few times. Delivery times may vary, but about one third of the time, the order is wrong, or something is missing. We have finally made a decision to never order again from here. I don’t know how the dining experience is.

I’d never been to this place, but I was home and not feeling well, and they popped up on GrubHub with 4 stars, so I thought I’d try it.
For starters, it took over an hour for the food to get to me. on a Tuesday night.
Then, I almost didn’t get it at all because I thought I heard knocking on my outside door — I live in an apartment complex and there’s an outside door with a breezeway that two apartments share — and when I said he should have rung the bell, he said I didn’t indicate which apartment I was. I looked at his sheet and pointed to special instructions which clearly stated: «Ring bottom bell». Had I been in the upstairs apartment, I never would have heard the knocking.
And then the food. I ordered Chicken Rollatini with penne… which was listed as chicken with prosciutto and mushrooms and balsamic vinegar. This plate was swimming in vinegar. Everything was black. It was horrible. Nobody can eat that amount of balsamic vinegar… nobody. It wasn’t a sauce or anything. Just like they made a dish and drowned it straight from the bottle.
The next night my fiancé attempted to cut the vinegar… he added cream of mushroom soup to try to make a sauce out of it, and then proceeded to add half the kitchen cabinets to it… and do you know what it tasted like? BALSAMIC VINEGAR. It was horrible.
I don’t know what fool gave this place 5 stars, but I wouldn’t eat there again if my meal was free and you offered me cash on top of it.

I have enjoyed this place from day 1. However there seems to be a slight hiccup recently.
I like to place the orders for delivery and they bring you order on time. But man when I want a pizza well done (crispy crust) and I hear no problem, I want it to be as orderd. This here keeps them away from 5 star in my opinion. The Italian dishes outside of pizza are fantastic. I will keep going here just please… well done = crispy crust. Not burnt and not doughy.

The best pizza ever and great Italian food in general. Their spaghetti is fabulous and the chicken parmesan is to die for. The servings are generous and the prices are good. I eat there every time I’m in the area.
