Why?! I used to like coming here to get the Arizona. You guys have fallen off. My dish tasted like dish washing soap. When I told the staff, they offered their apologies, but didn’t try to earn my future business with any incentive like a refund or substitution for a different meal. Sorry, but you’re off the list. Hope you guys all the best. You’re going to need it if the product continues to be sub-par.

Can we all just acknowledge how dumb the name is of this chain? I find the name to be deceiving and maybe if they called it something different, they would make better business.(All of the locations closest to me have shut down). This place isn’t just for gym junkies. It just has healthier food choices. However, I am a fan.

After recently visiting a MMG away from my home town, it warranted a review from me. This place is awesome! It allows me to eat take out food without feeling the residual crappyness of traditional fast food. The food is always made quickly and efficiently – all I have to do is call 10 minutes ahead and it is good to go when I arrive. It is always delicious and the portions are decent for the price you pay. My favorite is the MMG signature wrap!

It may be a chain and you may encounter some meat heads in here post work-out but Muscle Maker Grill is a pretty solid spot for sandwiches, salads, stir-fry dishes and more. This is the only location that I’ve been to, but the staff here has always been super friendly and always deliver your food with a smile. As far as wraps go, please try the Rocky Balboa wrap. It is grilled chicken, meatballs, marinara and cheese and is absolutely delicious. It also comes with a side of brown rice or salad. This has become my go-to whenever I come here and I have yet to be disappointed. I’ve also had the Teriyaki Grilled Chicken stir-fry and it too was a solid choice! I can’t say that the atmosphere is great as it located in a strip mall and has a lack of windows, but for great food that won’t rip your pants, Muscle Maker Grill ain’t a bad option.

The good is really good and fresh. Full of taste and meets the advertisement. It is a little expensive for fast food, but what isn’t these days. Occasionally there is attitude from the staff and you can feel out of place if you’re not a slim muscle bound gym rat. But not every time. Occasionally they are having too much fun to serve you quickly. But it really is about the food. Sorta.

Who knew healthy food could taste good? Try it. It doesn’t hurt to eat healthy for a change.

5 Stars on both service and food. I come here every now and then but yet half the staff recognizes me and greets me by name. The food comes out fast and excellent every time, and they give you a real cup for water rather than a small drinking cup. By far my favorite spot for lunch.

This place is nasty, and there are not many options for vegetarians. I got the veggie wrap. I assumed it would be vibrant, fresh and raw when I asked what was in it… No… It was a sautéed, tasteless mess of carrots, spinach, mushrooms, onions and peppers in a starchy flour tortilla that was microwaved. I should’ve known it was bad when I asked for avocado and they didn’t have any. I got it to-go and when I got back to where I was staying, it was sloppy and dripping. It didn’t even smell good. It would’ve been so yummy and nutrient rich if they would’ve warmed the tortilla on the grill and added raw spinach, cucumber, peppers, onions, tomatoes, avocado and maybe some sprouts and humus. But No. It was disgusting, cooked slop stripped of all nutrients and loaded in a microwave-zapped tortilla. LAME! The best part of the meal was the cucumber salad, but I wouldn’t go back for that. Also, all the vegetarian options and most other entrees all contained dairy. I had to ask for no cheese. COMEON! Even the protein shakes all had whey in them. I think the owner of muscle maker needs to do some more research on what«healthy» is. Now I have to figure out something else to eat to provide the nutrients I’m lacking after that meal that I couldn’t bring myself to eat. I’m never returning to muscle maker. NJ needs to get a clue when it comes to health food. You need some more good, fresh places with better vegetarian and vegan options.

Food was OK. Staff was inept. They took my order and asked for my name. I said«Marc» because if I said Bob or Frank well that would not be true. I sat down. About 15 minutes later she comes walking through the dinning area saying«Phil?» «Phil?» kind of looking confused and almost walking in a circle. I said, «Do you mean Marc? She spun around and dropped the sandwich on the floor. Ugh… I have a half hour for lunch and I don’t need this.

I’ve been going here for about a year now and have always had decent/good experiences. The staff is always very nice. However, the food is hit or miss. Unfortunately, the food was a real miss the other day. I got bad food poisoning and was out of work for two days. I will not be returning to this location. Although they promote ‘healthy’ alternatives, watch the sodium levels.

Oh sh**! Who knew healthy food could taste this damn good?!! This mall is in my neighborhood, so I’m there a lot. For a long while, I didn’t go to Muscle Maker because I thought they’d be expensive(and not tasty). A month ago, I was there with my grandmother, running errands. By then, I was starving, and since we were already over there, I decided to try it out. I took a while ordering because it was the first time I was ever there. I finally decided on the Yee-ha wrap(chicken breast, turkey bacon, potatoes, and sauce) with a side of broccoli. When I saw that the sauce had no carbs, I thought it’d be nasty, so I almost changed my order, but decided against it since the order was already underway. It takes a little while for them to make the food(probably about 15mins or so), since I assume the food’s made to order. When my food was ready, it was placed in a paper bag and sealed neatly. My grandma(bless her heart), treated(which I refused, but she insisted). We left and when I was finally able to taste my food after traveling to my aunt’s, I was pleasantly surprised. The sauce wasn’t nasty ATALL. Quite the opposite: it was tasty and spicy. The potatoes were yummy and filling and the chicken and turkey bacon were delicious. The wrap was just so complete… didn’t need anything added. The broccoli was awesome too — had no salt, butter, or cheese added, the way it’s supposed to be. With a bottle of Dasani, it was a perfect meal. If only they could open a branch down by the McGuire AFB base! They would make so much money!

I’m not sure why people are crazy about this place. I just got back from having lunch here with my husband. He’s on a healthy vegetarian kick right now and wanted to go. I ordered a MMG signature wrap(I think that’s what it’s called), a side ceasar salad and a bottle of water. My husband ordered a veggie wrap with a side of broccoli and a protein shake. I got a ceasar wrap instead and my husband got no shake. They messed up both of our orders. And it wasn’t even busy yet. If the food was good I would have forgiven, but it sucked. It was the most boring food I’ve ever had. And to quote my husband«this wrap sucks. The Muscle Maker in the city has good fresh vegetables. These all taste like they’ve been frozen.» So if you want boring gross food that isn’t what you actually ordered, come on down to the Muscle Maker Grill. Where they’re sure to disappoint!

I was drawn to this location once I started my health kick regimen, and the lack of healthy food in the area is limited to only a few places. I gave them a try one day, and had one of their wraps. The staff is VERY friendly and accommodating. The location is very clean and spacious considering with free wi fi. The food is made to order, so expect to wait a bit while your food is prepared. Wow was i amazed once I received my very first wrap at MMG. Very filling and tasty indeed. The staff brings the food to your table, and takes your plate away once you are done. They also periodically will ask you how your food is and say goodbye when you leave. After you visit a few times, the staff will remember your name and preferences. There is definitely a very personable touch when I visit here for lunch. Defintely 5 stars and recommend to anyone seeking a healthy alternative for lunch in the piscataway area.

Ehh. I think people go crazy over new things but this is nothing to go out of your way for. The idea is really cool, healthier food but still filling. I ordered food from here with a bunch of co-workers and someone had gone to pick it up(it’s about 15 minutes from us) and when I got my food I was really disappointed. I ordered the Vegetarian Italiano salad with no cheese, they got the no cheese part right and the vegetarian part wrong. There was chicken in the salad and I was charged for the regular one, not veggie. I called and spoke with a manager about the mishap and he apologized, he was very nice about it and even offered to bring another one over. My lunch break isn’t that long so I kindly said no thank you. He credited the credit card back so we didn’t have to go back. Very helpful. The salad did not look good. It was very plain and I could have probably made a better one at home. There wasn’t anything spectacular about it. I know it’s only a salad but for the price of it, I was expecting something decent. I would have rather gone to Salad Works. My co-workers enjoyed there meals, burgers, chicken/rice and beans, etc. My personal experience was just not a good one. They do give 15% off for Rutgers students/employess so touché to them.

One of my favorite spots to hit up after a workout. This place is big enough to fit around 50 + people I think? The staff is super nice. The girl who usually works behind the counter is always helpful. My girl a few times ordered from their old menu something called the«Mediterranean» its a fish dish(tilapia) with lemon sauce, spinach, and broccoli over brown rice. Wow, Im not a seafood person, but it won me over, well it made me try it at least. I usually get«Arizona» here, which is grilled chicken, with scallions, tomatos diced(I usually tell them to leave that out) not a fan, and special southwestern sauce(0 carbs by the way), with crispy turkey bacon for extra protein, what the heck right? Man, does it fill you up and its amazingly goooood. I tried out their chicken teriyaki, with peppers, onions, portabello mushrooms, teriyaki sauce, over brown rice. I actually enjoyed it. I might try this again with my «Arizona»… Cant go wrong with something good and healthy for ya! Price is pretty decent too. Oh yeah super clean as well, which is always a plus. Bathrooms are separated for men and women. Which is a plus for you women, coz guys can get really messy in there.

I love this place. The food is great and it is healthy for you as well. The Muscle Mass Burger Wrap(this is off their old menu but they will still make it) and Arizona are one of my favorites! Their strawberry and banana protein shake with apple juice is really good. They also have the BBQ Pop Chips which I love. Their prices are slightly a little high for the food, but its worth it when you weight out the fact that the food is good for you and also taste great, which there are not a lot of places like that. I would give it 5 stars if it was sligthly cheaper. Overall everything is great and I eat here about once or twice a week, sometimes more.

Really great food, the sauteed spinach is the best… cooked in garlic and oil with a litte parmesean cheese over it. All the food is plated on white square china like dishes, feels fancy, but is really good and cheap :) I love the wraps, and salads. each dish has so many different ingredients that create really tasty meals that are also very filing. No joke, my husband eats at Muscle Maker three times a week. we love it.
