I really like this TJ Maxx. I’m not a terribly diverse shopper when I go there. I pretty much JUST look for swimsuits. Every time I go in and I need something, they have something for me. This is great because I am super picky. I’ve had this happen in other TJ Maxx stores as well.

I want to like going here. I hear many people talk about finding name brands for a steal. However, being a larger framed lady, the finds I come across are not treasures. Can I just get a normal non-bedazzeled shirt? no faux fur or faux feathers either please. Intimates… hmmm… also not easy for a larger figure. The shoe section for a size 10 woman is pretty good though. I also like the housewares section and rarely leave without something I just needed to have that I had no idea I needed until I walked in. The purse and luggage selection takes up a good portion of the store and I see many women often fawning over this area. I went in looking for hair accessories and could not find anything other than some brushes and hairdryers. I do give them some points for making the store brighter. I do still stop in hoping to be able to tell someone the story of the stolen treasure I found and can brag about how I got a name brand for $ 12 too.

I enjoy shopping and running my errands in the morning, but unfortunately Marshall’s, Macy’s, and Nordstrom Rack don’t open until 11 on Sundays. I am so grateful that this TJ Maxx was open an hour earlier than the other stores this morning. My mission was to quickly grab some pants for a business trip. I was a little disappointed by the organization of the store(I never found the petite section and I’m quite petite – 5’1″ to be exact), but the pant selection met my needs even though I had to do a little extra digging. The store was clean, the fitting rooms were the perfect size, and all the staff were friendly. Next time I plan to shop before 11am I know where I will be.

I haven’t been to this location in quite a while, so I was pleasantly surprised this morning when I entered a clean, remodeled, wide-aisled store. We love TJ Maxx for the discounted prices, especially on those necessities that seem overpriced elsewhere. We almost always walk out with a Ralph Lauren polo or two. Word of advice though: be sure to inspect your finds for stains and holes! The housewares section in the back of the store is a great addition. We found a few things that were on our«we need to buy another one of those sometime» mental list. My big find on this visit was a lime green hamper that perfectly fits the décor of our nursery and was only $ 16! With the new layout and the cleanliness, I’m looking forward to shopping more this summer!

How can I be a Maxxinista if there’s no selection of fabulous/cute dresses here? Disappointing! :( They do have an interesting selection of home goods in the back of the store. I grabbed a spiffy can opener for about $ 7 and something else that I probably didn’t need. There’s a large selection of kitchen towels for a great price, but I was disappointed in the selection for some of the goods. A lot of the items had only one in stock, so if it was slightly damaged or open, there were no other options.
