Jim and his crew at All Transmissions are the best. I have nothing but confidence in him, so much so that I trust him with my wife’s and kids’ cars.
And he’s trustworthy. I brought him my car a few months ago because my car was leaking oil… I was thinking a thousand dollars. He called me a few hours later… it turns out that the folks at Jiffy Lube didn’t tighten the oil plug a few weeks prior!

Obviously, the amount of 5-​star reviews caught my attention when looking for a shop to look at a problem with my transmission. Fast professional service. I was very satisfied and highly recommend them. I have an older vehicle, a 1993 Pontiac Firebird. Now it runs great!

It’s hard to find a mechanic you can trust. It took me almost 50 years, but I’ve finally found my guy. My family and I have been bringing our cars to Jim for about 5 years now. He’s terrific. His work is great. I wholeheartedly recommend Jim and All Transmissions. (By the way, they do everything, not just transmissions.)

I just had my brakes done for the best price in town. I’m bringing my other car for more brake work. Jim has always been honest and straightforward. He fixes what needs to be fixed, no guessing. I’ve never had to bring back what he repaired. Thank you.

Brought my 1967 Chevelle SS to Jim based on recommendations from my friends. Boy were they right. All pros and no cons with Jim. If you want something done right he’s your guy. No BS as he’ll give it you straight, won’t overcharge you, and will make sure you’re satisfied that its fixed correctly — everytime.
Wouldn’t bring my classic car to anyone else. Of course he does transmissions, but he does everything else too. Did my suspension, brakes, engine mods, electrical, EVERYTHING. Jim’s got a network of folks in SSF that he rely’s on for more specialized work.

Talk about somehow who knows his trade. Jim is on it! Always available to talk about your vehicles status and lets you know what is going on consistently. The rates here are amazing. I won’t quote any rates but every time Jim tells me what my bill is I am amazed that he has performed for the work at such a reasonable rate as opposed to some of the other local mechanics. Jim is my mechanic and always will be.

I highly recommend Jim and his shop. He did my transmission and has been my mechanic ever since. Can handle big complex jobs (rebuilt my transmission and put in a new engine). Takes responsibility for any issues that come up promptly. He has been great with pricing. Always available to listen and speak with me about issues with my car. Present, not rushed when dealing with me. I respect him and trust him. Feel really fortunate to have met him and have him as my mechanic.

Jim is very skilled. He was able to provide custom work to my 1964 Ranchero that very few shops would attempt. The work was done perfectly, and the price was more than fair. Jim wass able to provide this type of work because of his weallth of knowledge and familiarity with all kinds of cars. It was clearly obvious when I first walked into his shop and saw the variety of work and types of cars that he takes on.

Jim tells you up front what may be the problem, charges more than fairly, and turns around pretty fast seeing how the shop is always full of cars. He has worked on a few of my cars, from a modern luxury import (with over 180,000 miles) to a classic Dodge from the 60s. This review is long overdue, thanks Jim!

Being that I drive an automatic, I was certain that my transmission was going out. Met Jim and he checked it out. He knew it wasn’t the transmission. He fixed the smaller problem and then he even checked in afterwards, wanted to know how the car was running. I felt good about the whole transaction. Thanks Jim.

This review is late in coming, as we brought our car to All Transmissions in March 2012. All Transmissions was recommended to us by our mechanic whose diagnosis wasn’t promising. Turned out two bolts had come free and were in the pan. Jim is an honest mechanic and very fairly priced. We would not hesitate to go back to him for any tranmission work.

Just got my Mom’s 2003 Accord back from Jim at all and I’m stunned by EVERYTHING he has done. The car runs better than new, he also took care of a few odds and ends that needed to be repaired such as an o2 Sensor (check engine light is finally off) and the mount which was causing the car to (clunk) went shifting into drive. I inspected the engine bay and you can’t even tell anything was touched, it’s like new again! The car drives like it did when purchased new in 03 and he saved me 1k by going to the dealer. Thank you JIM!!!

Took my car today to owner, Jim, and he told me my car didn’t need a new tranny. Told me he saved me $ 2500. Instead my car needed cleaned out or replaced fuel injectors. Will update review after repair, but if all goes well… I will forever recommend this business to all.
Yes — all went PERFECT! Highly recommend Jim and All Transmissions! This sounds dumb and really ridiculous — but the car they returned to us was 1000x better than the car we took in… better than we bought it. Jim knows his stuff! Thank you Jim (Monte Carlos SS owners).
