The embassy suites’ restaurants always have a great food! Since it’s located inside of the hotel, the price is a little high. We got to the hotel around 13:15 and were very hungry, so we decided to eat here. There was no one in the restaurant, and the service was very slow. We ordered salmon with brussels sprouts and farro. The food was very flavorful and tasty! The portion was perfect as I didn’t want to eat a lot. The salmon was perfectly cooked and Brussels sprouts were crispy, but they seasoned very well. I would definitely go back there when I’m in town.

Absolutely disgusting. Not sure what they were trying to serve but they really need lessons in how to cook and season food.

I was here for a work meeting and about 12 or so of us had dinner here. They took our orders and everybody’s food came except mine. And so I waited. And waited. And waited. Finally they came and acknowledged what was happening. They said that my dish didn’t come out right so they were re-making it. When it finally came(Frenched chicken with mashed potatoes) it was totally over cooked and dry. I’m pretty sure that to speed things up they dropped the chicken in the deep fryer. And the mashed potatoes were awful. Dry as can be. A tuna sandwhich from 7 Eleven across the street would have been better.

Overpriced and exactly what I expected. Used a $ 25 credit, because the hotel could not check me in on time. Had soup and sandwich. It was fine, but very expensive. Oh, but they failed by forgetting that I needed a napkin and silverware. Thank goodness a random server walked by. My assigned server forgot. Congruent with the other reviews.

Nice restaurant layout nice seat area with koi pond. Food was delicious an good quality portion served. Not greedy with meat, sauces and ingredients. Services was slow a little bit. Would come back here again and recommend people to eat here.

Inside the embassy suites. Just awful. I actually feel sorry for the staff. The food isn’t good. They are understaffed. For some reason they decided to only have super hoppy ipa beer(eve the two ‘red’ ales are hoppy as heck). The bar liquor selection is pitiful. The hamburger is 18 $. The whole hotel is run like crap. The credit card machine has been broken for a week. Either the manager should be fired or the hotel chain is running the place on a shoestring.

We came here because we got in late and still hadn’t eaten dinner. We were seated by a host in a completely empty dining room. The server came and brought us water and then immediately left. She came back like a minute later and asked what we wanted to order. We’d been sitting for only 1 – 2 minutes. Luckily the menu was sparse so it was no problem for me to find the one vegan-ish thing on the menu: a whole wheat pasta dish. I had a choice of sauces, so I chose the non-creamy one and you would think from the server’s reaction that I was speaking a foreign language in ordering tomato-basil sauce. The pasta was awful. It came in a huge portion which would be a plus to take back to the room, except that it tastes disgusting so I have no desire to take it back. How do you f*ck up pasta?! Another guest literally echoed the exact same thing I said about pasta. Especially in a tomato-basil sauce. That’s soooo basic. My husband’s chicken pasta was less than stellar as well. We can now see why the place is empty. Also, the server walked past our table 5 times while my water glass was empty and never refilled it once. For my giant, nasty meal, I had less than 8oz. of water to wash it down with! Another couple waited about 10 minutes at the host station to be seated in an empty restaurant… We told them not to waste their money. Unfortunately the choices are pretty limited in the area… Steer away from this place if possible. No bueno.

Great atmosphere. Very average food. Service was bad. Appetizers came out cold. Took a long time for main meal to come. Took even longer for the bill to come.

Went here during a break from a meeting. I literally waited an hour for my food, which was mediocre at best. Avoid this place like the plague!

Although dinner can be a little bit on the pricey side, the food was outstanding and the portions very generous! Our waiter was also very courtious and attentive. I ordered a $ 26.00 New York Steak dinner topped with grilled blue cheese bits, with fingerling potatoes and grilled asparagus. –yum! My husband had a California Club Sandwich stacked high with grilled chicken, bacon, tomato, lettuce and cheese on ciabatta bread with fries for about $ 13.00. Our daughter ordered Macaroni and Cheese from the children’s menu that could have fed 3 people easily! Not only was her plate large, it was perhaps the best mac n’ cheese I/we ever had! I highly recommend this place!

Located at the Embassy Suites Hotel in South San Francisco, the restaurant Two Fifty offers a casual-elegant experience and adds to the ambiance of the very nice hotel. The food was great. I ordered the Chicken Club sandwich and my wife ordered the signature burger. Both were great! The reason for the two stars was the service. I sat down at 11:55AM as my wife was in a conference with lunch starting at noon. When I first arrived, I couldn’t locate anyone, and I wasn’t sure if it was self-seating, but eventually found someone in the dining area that could help me out. He sat me down and I told him I was waiting a few minutes for my wife to get there. My wife arrives right at noon, as well as the rest of the people from her conference. So, I started scouting for the guy that sat me down, because we needed to get our order in and eat before she had to return to her conference at 1PM. Of course, I never saw him again. In fact, it was about 12:20 before the manager was out taking our order after I flagged him down. The whole time the experience felt like they were«surprised» we wanted to have lunch. Once the manager took our order, we didn’t get our food until 12:45PM. The whole time before that my wife was getting stressed that she wouldn’t be able to eat before having to go back to the conference. She said her burger was really good… but we couldn’t decide if most of that should be attributed to her being super hungry and having to eat super quickly. All that aside, she took off at a few minutes to 1PM, and I paid for our meal after being given the bill about 10 minutes after finishing my food. Yeah… it could have been the kitchen getting overwhelmed with the conference orders… but still… get your act together!
