This is soooooo good omg i adored the pandan coconut waffle and loved the strawberry smoothie! A lady who worked there forgot my drink and waffle though but other than that the workers are nice and friendly & it is a great place!

Always liked this place even though they were next to Quicklys and Raging Boba… BUT they raised their prices by $ 0.50AND give smaller portions. Don’t mind when businesses raise their prices a little bit… Its uderstandable but to raise it AND give smaller portions? It’s already a lot to buy milk teas and jelly dessert drinks for $ 4 – 5.50 … But now with the small portions they serve it seems a little unfair.

I love it here. There is a sweet handsome young man that works here, that is always kind to my sister and I. I’m always creating my own drink due to dietary needs rather I need it to be dairy free or sugar free. Drinks are made promptly and delicious of fresh ingredients. BRINGCASH $ 10 minimum for card. Smoothies are $ 4 They recently brought in a dessert bar that looks tasty. I haven’t tried anything yet, but will next time. Unfortunately I no longer live close by, but it’s worth going out the way for a coconut taro smoothie. Cheers!

I was a bit skeptical of this Bambu location because each franchise can be hit or miss and the reviews were not very good. I ordered my usual avocado smoothie 50% sweet and I think it was just as good as the spot Geary location. I also thought the pandan and tapioca were chewy and fresh. Prices are standard — $ 4 for a regular size which includes toppings. Overall, clean, quick and exactly what I was looking for!

Looking for a warm boba drink?! Try the Hot Taro Milk Tea with boba. They use real Taro. none of that powder stuff. FYI…$ 10 minimum for Credit Card usage.

I loved desert number 5. The avocado was pretty thick but I think I prefer it that way because I know the avocado is real.

Ordered the number 4. Tasted mostly the same as the location in San Mateo, except it didn’t have mung beans when it’s supposed to(?) Whenever I visit the bambu at this location, I alway wonder why the prices are cheaper at this location than the one in SM! Overall, tasted good, but missing some things in my dessert!

I love Bambu! I wish they had one near my where I lived. Was in the area and saw this opened up so I had to stop. All the drinks I’ve had here have been good. My favs are the #10 and #11. Can’t wait to come back again!

The usual. Item #14 at Bambu on Geary in SF still better.

My long distance love. I come back for you and you satisfy me everytime. I dream of the next time I will be able to eat you. The first time I was introduced to Bambu I got hooked on it. It was so interesting and delicious. I’m from the east coast and I have found nothing like this. I try to get different flavors each time but I find that the coconut ones are the best. My personal favorite is #2. It is a very filling dessert. I look forward to visiting SF for Bambu. looooove Bambu!

I have a big sweet tooth and bambu is one of the few places that can satisfy my sugar cravings(and also be very refreshing) after along workout. I always get there dessert drinks here and never the milk teas. My go-to is their number 1. I have also tried their avocado smash and number 2. A tip that I got from a friend is to try substituting coconut meat in place of the boba/tapioca if you want something more refreshing on the #2. Pros: — Dessert drinks can satisfy most sweet tooths — This location accepts credit cards(minimum $ 10) — Seating is available and usually not too difficult to find Potential Improvements: — Option to have the ice packed seperstely for big to go orders. It would keep the drinks from becoming watered down by the time they get home!

I only have been to two locations. Based on other reviews, I would have to agree that the consistency and quality is not the same as other locations. The fact that their ingredients are warm, by the time you get your drink, the ice is half melted. By the time you get home, you just have a liquid mess. Dessert should be soild, not slurped up through a straw. The other location(Portland, Oregon) I’ve been to, pre-packages all the ingredients and refrigerates it. Then, when someone orders, they put a ball of shaved ice and the ice doesn’t melt. Genius? Right? Plus, this turns a 10 minute order to a 2 minute order. Also, I think cold longan is more refreshing cold, than warm. However, there isn’t any other place in Daly City, so it remains busy. Quickly and Onyx only sells bubble drinks and not desserts.

Besides this location, I’ve been to two in San Jose(the one by Story and the other one by Hostetter), as well as the Geary location in SF. If you’ve been to those, the lines there can be loooong(especially the ones in San Jose). And because of those long lines, I’ve had a couple of drink orders that were wrong. But this location is pretty convenient and not as crowded! The drinks and desserts still taste as great as the other locations I’ve tried. Will come back here again when I’m in town. I heard they raised their prices to at least $ 5/drink, but I’d still go there since this is one of the better boba and tea places in town.

I would give this BAMBU location 3.5 stars instead of 3 stars if I could. I will definitely come back for the desserts, because I’ll always come back to BAMBU. The time I visited, I decided to order Vietnamese Coffee($ 3.50) instead. It was pretty strong, so I was happy, considering I really needed the caffeine. The place itself is kinda dead, both in crowd and vibe, and it seemed like there was only one person running the whole show when I visited. Then again it was near the holidays, so that’s probably why. Well anyways no major complaints here. It’s your average BAMBU joint so have at it!

Probably one of the worst Bambu locations I’ve been to. I ordered a jasmine milk tea with pandan jelly. My friend told me that the strength of the tea varies on who is making it so it’s not very consistent but I thought my jasmine milk tea was pretty on point besides being slightly watery. I live for the pandan jelly. I noticed it was more brown green colored and soggy and when I asked the cashier he told me that perhaps it’s been sitting for about an hour(hence being soggy) and that it’s the only batch they have. I’ve been to four other bambu locations(san mateo, sj, and sf) and each time my pandan jelly is chewy and a bright green color and at each location, they are willing to accommodate the customer if something is wrong. He just apologized and I quietly went back to my seat.

These Bambu places have some pretty awesome drinks with all kinds of craziness inside. I always go for the #6 because it has tons of fresh fruits and doesn’t make me feel guilty ordering this for dessert! The only knock on this place is that the pricing is higher than most other Bambu places I have eaten at before. It’s probably a rent thing, but the prices are about $ 0.50 to $ 0.75 higher than the other places I have been to in san jose, etc… If you like something new, with lots of different textures and flavors, I would recommend that you give this place a try. There is a bubble tea place in the same area, but this is a different experience for those looking for an «adventurous» dessert ;-) Happy Eating!

I’m liking it! After a bad start with my friend spilling his drink all over my hair, face and jacket, the drink is pretty good! I got the #15 #15: red bean, grass & pandan jelly, coconut milk– soooo good! It’s sweet but creamy. It’s like a dessert. There’s no other food that you can order here but this drink had about half it’s cup full of red bean and jelly. The grass jelly isn’t too sweet and it’s very soft. The pandan jelly is harder and chewier like a flattened tapioca.

I think this one is different from the one in San Mateo. Not sure if they use fresh pressed coconut juice here. I opted for something different than my usual #6. I tried the #5 Bo Dam which is avocado, combo jelly and pearl. It literally tastes like sweet avocado chunky purée with jelly and Boba. I was not a fan. It was too thick. But I like #6 so that is why they get 4 stars.
