Horrible, horrible customer service. There had to be… I don’t know, 30 employees working for whatever reason? And about 25 of them were standing around talking to each other or walking around on their personal phones or stupid apple watches haha. Buncha kids getting paid to stand around and explain to old people how to text message etc. Shit is ridiculous. I had an appointment for 620, drove over an hour in very heavy rain and arrived about 10 mins late. Apparently if you miss your appointment that you drove for over an hour to get to by 10 mins, they make you wait for 45 to punish you. Then they try and tell you your phone casing is «too bent» to repair the screen. Lol, I couldn’t notice any bending at all and when placed face down it was flat with the surface… anyway, I was told that I needed a new phone. It’s a known problem the 6’s bend a little bit with normal wear and tear. What a scam to make even more money off of your loyal customers though. I’ll just get the third party replacement kit myself and do it like I did my last iPhone, that was actually really, really bent but I(not a certified apple ‘genuis’) was able to repair the screen just fine and the phone worked flawlessly for a year after. So, fuck you, Apple — and fuck the employees that didn’t help me whatsoever last night. It all depends on what apple store you go to and who actually helps you, they definitely could have helped me out — but they chose to treat me like shit and refuse my $ 120 for a screen repair. Unreal — I think i’m about done with Apple. Most definitely never going to this store again.

No different than any other Apple store. Fun to walk around and look at the over priced stuff. Luckily I did not need anything for any of our phones. Nothing realing standing out about this location. It was not busy so any questions I had were answered quickly.

So I have a 6S Plus. I only had it for about 3 months and dropped it twice. The first time only resulted in a small thumbnail crack in the corner with no screen damage. The second time I dropped it the whole screen was shattered. I was devastated and began seeking repairs. I have repaired my iPhone screens in the past with little difficulty, but with the 6s it is a bit different and nearly impossible to perform without something going wrong. So I started looking for Apple stores and the closest was Providence Place Mall… No way in hell was I going to that trap. I found the store in South Windsor and checked the reviews. There were good and bad reviews, but I decided to try it. I could not believe how professional everyone was there. My appointment was at 1:20PM, but I arrived at 1:00PM and within 2 minutes I had a genius helping me. His name was James and was absolutely great. I cannot speak for everyone working there, but based on my experience and the looks of all the customers they are doing great. I was out of the store with a new screen on my phone in less than an hour. Excellent and professional service.

They have no respect for customers time. Even I made an appointment instead of letting us know they can’t give us service. They let us wait for over 40 minutes. There are many people standing but few are doing anything.

Made an appointment to get my phone repaired. Told them exactly what was wrong. The glass on the phone was loose, needed replacement. Got there, on time, had the phone diagnosed, then proceeded to tell me it was too late in the day to repair the phone. Beyond annoying. You should write me a check for wasting my time. I’ve spent thousands of dollars in that store. No more. Done.

I have had some positive experience with some of the people at the Genius Bar. However, I am very unimpressed with their customer service. To drop my computer off for repair when I had an appointment, I still had to wait in a long line to «check in» even though I counted at least 4 employees just chatting with each other. It took over ½hr to «drop off» my computer. I have not received any update on my computer in 4 days. I called today to get an update. I was placed on hold for awhile & then told to hold again & someone from the back would pick up the call. No one ever did. I called back 3 times only to hear the phone ring & ring & then get disconnected. It’s a shame. You’d expect much better customer service from Apple. This store needs customer service training.

This store was a great experience for me personally. I cracked my iPhone screen so I made an appointment for a Saturday afternoon. I showed up early and someone was able to help me almost right away. Told me to come back in 45 minutes so I walked around in the sunshine and then returned. Phone was ready and looked good as new. The staff was really nice and helpful. I will totally go back next time I have an Apple issue.

Went back and bought an iPhone 6. I’m no tech expert but there were issues retrieving my iCloud backup and it seemed I knew more than they did… kind of off putting when I’m just a casual iPhone user and no hardcore Apple fan girl. They also don’t seem to be too knowledgable about 2 step verification… having that on my Gmail account threw not one, not two, but three Apple employees for a loop. Despite my complaints, I do love the basic setup of Apple stores(appointments, no traditional cash register lines, etc.) and I will continue to use this store as my «home» store versus Westfarms.

Made and appointment to replace my screen for 2:20, they helped me right away I was happy with that. They told me to come back after 45 minutes. Left to get lunch took about 35 minutes so for my extra time I walked around the shoppes. Went back to the Apple Store around 50 minutes after they told me to come back. I have been sitting at the back bar for around 15 minutes without any service, making me feel like I am not seen or worth to help. So finally after 20 minutes they ask my name and come out with my phone. Seems like it’s been done for a while! Hmph such service
